This is well made and sturdy. When it arrived I checked it for any splinters or rough spots but it was nice and smooth. It is good size for small to medium hamsters but it is a little small for larger hamsters like the teddy bear. It is completely silent and is safe for them to use. Works great!

do not i repeat DO NOT buy this product for your hamsters or other small animals, it is not big enough for a hamster to use and is no where near 12 inches like the description says. it is only 12 centimeters
