It’s a little small but it does fit my largest rat comfortably and who can deny how absolutely adorable this is. Fits two small rats and one large rat!

This rat bed is absolutely adorable. It is made of real wood, with cute decorative cutouts. The wood is substantially thick, so it will last a while. The bed is the right size for an adult rat to lay comfortably on, or in our case, two rats who insist they both fit on it together. The pad it came with is very soft, and it serves its purpose well. I think it’s a great value for how cute and well made it is.

Easily the cutest thing in my cage set up.The bed is untreated wood, sturdy like an IKEA doll bed and the cushion is nice and fluffy. Now your mileage may vary but my two ripped the bed to shreds and used it for bedding after only a couple of days.The bed is still adorable without and I love seeing them sit in it.The mounting hardware was easy to use so you have the option of putting it high up like a shelf/perch, which is what I did.Or you can place it on the ground floor of your cage and let them move it around as they wish.I’d recommend this for Degus (remove the cushion), smaller rats, hamsters and mice.Keep in mind that big male rats don’t fit well, it’s more of a chair for my guy than a bed.

This "bed" is an adorable ledge for my rattos. The fleece cushion is soft, but it is a loose item, and you should probably expect it to get pulled off and destroyed. However, the wooden part of it is sturdy and affixes easily to my Critter Nation cage with two included bolts, washers, and wing nuts. The wood is smooth and the pieces are well cut out. It is, however, probably sized for only one rat, which is a bit disappointing because most people keep their rats in groups. Nevertheless, it is a very cute accessory and my chonky boys approve (although one at a time, lol).

The wooden bed is adorable. I can’t get over how cute my ratties look when they’re curled up on the soft pad. The pad that comes with the bed is soft and cozy for my ratties. I can hang it on the side of the cage or place it on the ground. I tried both. I placed it on the ground as I have an acrylic cage. They use it as a cozy nap spot. It makes their cage feel more like a home. It’s wooden but light, and it has little paw print cutouts on the sides.

This is an adorable little bed! I’m using it for my sugar gliders, and while it’s not perfect out of the box, it still works great with a small adjustment. The inner bed part isn’t suitable for sugar gliders—the fabric can catch their tiny claws, which could cause them to get stuck or fall. I removed that part, and now it functions more like a wooden shelf, which they absolutely love.They use it all the time, and it’s even become a spot where I give them treats. It was super easy to attach to the cage and feels very sturdy—strong enough to be mounted high up on the wall, not just near the bottom. Overall, it’s a great piece with a little modification!
