Pretty wooden sewing box! Nostalgic too. Full of basic sewing notions everyone needs. I bought it for my 13 year old niece who has become interested in sewing. Sturdy enough to hold up well. Can’t wait to see what she makes next!

This is significantly smaller than I anticipated, but with that said, it does fit A LOT of sewing stuff. My one fault with this is that it comes with virtually everything you would need to sew EXCEPT straight pins. Granted most people have about a million of them, but it would have been nice to get some here with this kit as I have about 2 to my name. Other than that, this seems like it is great. Nice a portable as well as easy to use.

Everything seems to be in the box. But the saying on the box is not as shown in the Amazon picture. It says ‘in love with life.. fall in love with home’.

Edit: still good for the price. Buy for the box. Do not use the thread in your sewing machine. It is very poor quality and will give you many headaches.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality given the price. The items are basic but sturdy. The box is cute. Certainly great as a starter kit.The scissors are pretty but uncomfortable to use. Box is a bit small for a hobbyist but perfect for the occasional mending. No pins are included.

I was in the market to make a home for all of my sewing accessories. Mind you, I only do mending, buttons, and such... I wanted something sturdy, with compartments, and that would look nice if I left it sitting out. This fits all of those wants and more!The box itself is very well made and has wonderful attention to detail... I love the antique clasp! On the interior, it provides 3 different sections for sorting your various supplies/tools. It comes with quite an assortment of thread as well as quite a few 'necessities' for the casual repair. A lot of the items within the kit are things that I already own, but it is always nice to have a backup just in case!All of this, and the price is incredibly well placed... Honestly, this easily earned a solid 5 star review!!

This product is great for beginner sewers! There are so many things included in this cute box. However, the phrase on the lid is different in the picture shown than what I got. The phrase is still nice, but it would be great if the one they sent you was actually the one pictured.
