Washed them when I got them in Warm soapy water and whatever coating was on them washed off immediately and they changed in color. Not sure if they are safe to use now. Or if all the coating is completely washed away or if it’s toxic.

I love them! Don’t get discouraged but the first time you wash them the shiny coating comes off but they are still great spoons.

An awesome set of 6 wooden cooking spoons that are just beautiful! There are a variety of cooking utensil styles. I particularly love the holes in the bottom to allow me to hang these by my stove for quick access. These are light and easy to hold with a great length for cooking safety. I am so happy with my purchase and would highly recommend!!
