It’s beautiful, the idea is nice, and it mostly does its job, but the spiral isn’t smoothed enough, so the yarn keeps catching.

This is a nice looking yarn bowl, however It's pretty small and pretty expensive. Also, the scroll isn't polished inside the cutout, so I think there's a possibility of yarn snagging. I don't think I'd buy this again.

This is so beautifully made and sturdy. It's large enough for a full skein of worsted yarn, like Red Heart or that type of size, or two smaller balls of yarn. The swirl design is perfect for keeping the yarn in place, and the holes are handy for stashing a crochet hook or knitting needle. It's gorgeous wood and varnished really well, has enough weight to stay put when you pull on it. This is the nicest yarn bowl I've found and makes everthing easier. Beautiful workmanship. Highly recommended.

I grew up crocheting and never have I ever seen anything like this to hold your yarn, so when I saw it I had to get it. The wood it is made out of is so smooth and very high quality. It's not very large so you will need to ball your yarn up and do a few rows before you can put the lid on. Again, it does depend on the yarn you use, so the thinner, less bulky yarn, fits perfectly when you ball it up. You can only put one at a time so it's good for active craft projects. And it's cat-proof, my cats have had 0 luck with trying to get the yarn out so very much in love with this product.
