Great stand for my phone and the yarn.If you crochet then a lot of times you use the phone to watch you tube videos for ideas and patterns so this stand is awesome for that and it free my hands fromHolding the phone or the yarn. I like it a lot.

For knitters and crocheters one of the biggest annoyances when crafting our masterpieces is wrangling the yarn ball, unwinding and untangling a mess that often causes one to put the tools down and go on a crafting hiatus. Enter: this yarn ball holder. Everything about this device has been carefully thought out and wonderfully crafted and has made knitting and crocheting enjoyable and relaxing again. The holder itself attaches to the base via a strong magnet that holds pretty decently sized yarn cakes. There's a small holder attached to hold a couple of crochet or knitting needles so they don't get lost. Probably one of my favorite features is the phone holder as I am usually watching tutorials or a favorite show while working and this holds my phone up with ease. Honestly I don't know how I ever crocheted without this and thanks to its easy assembly/disassembly I can take it with me anywhere to work on projects. I highly recommend this to my fellow knitters and crocheters of all experience levels!

I am very new to crotchet so keep that in mind but I really like this tool. I was getting very frustrated with my yard getting tangled while I tried to make something and this eliminates that problem. This is a great size to travel with and put on a desk without taking up too much space. I do most of my crochet at work and can easily fit this into my work bag and set it up on my desk.Putting it together was easy too, the instructions were photos but easy to follow along with!

I really wanted to like this and be able to use it, but... the craftmanship ruined those hopes for me. Putting it together I found that the pilot hole in the yarn post was crooked. The only fix would be to buy a dowel and try to make a new one, or cut about 1" off and drill a new straight pilot hole. My husband did the latter. So it is a bit shorter, but should have still been somewhat functional. Problem #2 arose when I added a cake of my handspun yarn onto the post and tried to attach it to the holder, the magentic piece fell out of the post. Tried a very small light cake and same thing happened. I will have to find some type of glue to drop in the magnet hole and hope it holds it in. Very disappointed in this product. One other thing is that the arm holding the post could have gone out a bit farther so it could more easily accommodate larger cakes of yarn. I tend to make large cakes with my handspun. Would not recommend.

This is a yarn holder with extras. It arrived in a flat box, protected by foam with appropriate cutouts for the various pieces. It also included hardware, namely assembly instructions, three screws and a mini screwdriver. The directions were easy enough to follow, but i needed my own screwdriverr, as the one included didn't fit the screw well enough to actually get the screws into the wood. It has a thoughtful design that includes the yarn holder, a round wooden cup to hold hooks and needles, and a slot that runs the length of the base, which I assume is either a phone holder, a pattern book holder, or a place to keep knitting needles. There's not any information to indicate the purpose for that slot. Once I got it assembled, I placed a skein of yarn on it and tested it out. The yarn hangs from a strong magnet, moving freely as I worked on my knitting. It works very well for its stated purpose. It will be a handy thing to have. The appearance of this yarn holder isn't quite as polished as another similar one I have, but it's still an attractive tool to have in my bag. This one is also a bit bigger than my other one, so it won't be quite as portable. Still, overall I'm very happy to have gotten it.
