Fairly easy to install. Picture of wiring was accurate, even if the numbers on the safety switch did not align with the instructions, it's easy enough to see to wire across one of the switches on the back of it (There are two actual switches on the back of the safety switch in case you need to disconnect more than a single device...)The unit itself is plastic, but seems ok for the price.Drilled and mounted to the leg on my planer, wired up a power cord and the motor and tested fine. Now just have to refinish the beds, adjust the planer and start cleaning up these boards!

I used this in a router cabinet that I built where the router is fully enclosed in a dust collector. It works well, and the instructions that came with it were pretty very easy to follow. I took one star off of my overall rating because the emergency switch does not "lock out" as described. But even though it doesn't technically lock out, pressing it does break the voltage to the router, so it performs it's function. There was one little area where the instructions were a bit unclear. They say that the emergency switch should use crimp on connectors, but it would be pretty difficult to fit a crimped connector within the space that is provided; I simply clamped the wire I was using in the couplings provided.I choose this switch because, unlike the competitors, there was no question about what kind of box it needed for mounting. Because I added another outlet beside the router, I decided to use 12 gauge wiring for the switch. There was lots of room inside the box for my connections.

Use this for my Duro wood lathe. Easy to wire - you do need wire spade lugs. I have a non standard frame so I did have to drill some holes to mount it and run the wiring. I knew that when I purchased it.

I have two of these. This is an excellent way to add that big red stop button to things like your router table.

The switch works fine, but it came with no wiring instructions. You need to look at very small decals on both the push-button switch and the magnetic switch to figure it out. The push button switch has two sets of contacts. One set is normally open and the other normally closed. It helps to have an ohmmeter... Also, there are no standard size knockouts in the plastic switch housing, so you must drill your own if you want to fit standard cable clamps. I used a Forstner bit to drill my holes. They need to be located so that the wires will enter the box with sufficient clearance from the two switches.
