Let me just say, I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present but my husband has taken it over! I was very impressed with the quality of this toy and believe my daughter (and husband) will be able to enjoy it for years to come!

This was a Christmas present. Within a few minutes of using it, one of the keys wouldn’t move so that note couldn’t be played so we returned it

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson who loves all musical instruments. This is of course, a toy and shouldn't be judged as a musical instrument. However, it is extremely well built and gives small children an idea of how accordions work. My grandson loves it - it pumps in and out easily and produces notes, which is perfect for him. In addition, it is very durable and should last. I highly recommend this product.

This is not my first one: I bought a blue one previously nearly 20 years ago, and I wanted it for a holiday party and couldn't find it, so I bought another: It's essentially identical: there must be some Chinese company that makes these. The tuning is atrocious, the bellows leak, some of the reeds barely speak unless you really bear down on the pushes and pulls. But it's only $25! I can't stand the thumb strap, so I just made another improvised cable to wrap around behind my elbow to hold it in place on pulls. You get two diatonic octaves and there's a heaping gob of English country dances and holiday songs and stuff you can make work on this: figure out the interval it fits in, or flatten a note to give it an odd modal vibe...You're not going to make beautiful or good music with this, but you can play it vigorously and make a lot of fun music!

Al principio se siente un poco duro pero con un poco de uso se va aflojando y facilitando su uso. Buen producto, de buena calidad.

I am an adult who has purchased one of the Woodstock Kid’s Accordion Music Collection mini accordions for myself. Though it is advertised as a toy, I could see by the demo video that it was a nice mini accordion and not really a toy at all. The video shows a tall male with thin fingers showing off by playing the instrument. He has no problem even though he has long fingers and it was this demo that made me decide one of these instruments would be a fit for my hands since I am a female with thin fingers and have to be at least several inches shorter than the guy in the demo.I saw my first accordion around three at a Polka Hall and was in awe of it. Besides being a filmmaker I both compose and play music. I have used the accordion on my small keyboard even in techno and jazz. But since I was classically trained on strings and cornet long before I played keyboard I like the feel of holding an instrument in my hands and was looking to see what I could do differently with a handheld accordion than what I was doing ‘keying’ it like a piano. I also am quite the multi tasker and knew if I held my accordion a bit differently, I could use it to do my chest presses as I composed at the same time. It looks quite decorative, much cuter looking than small hand weights, and stealthy.I do not watch television/cable by choice. I realize it is much better to create one’s own positive music and that is a normal part and design of life. So rather than worry about what is on the radio I make my own music.I was looking for a small instrument I can play in my kitchen and my back and front yard. I particularly looked for a plastic one as I was not trying to get one made from wood. This Woodstock Accordion seemed like a fit. I ended up liking it very much but I must say IT HAS LEATHER ELEMENTS TO IT. I did not know this before I purchased it and am a vegetarian. I most likely would not have purchased one had I known this but I certainly am not sending mine back. I’m keeping it of course. That being said it is an amazing small instrument and is very well built. I do not know how long it takes to make these but I have been contemplating about instruments in general and regardless if it states it is a toy or not and even though I can afford to buy them right away before buying any more I will think about the decision for around three months before I purchase. This seems respectful to me. I did do this earlier and thought a long time about a plastic flugelhorn. As I set and thought about it I realized I have an electronic patch I can use with my trumpet/cornet mute and ‘make’ my trumpet sound like a flugelhorn any time I want. I did want this plastic flugelhorn for the different look a flugelhorn has from a trumpet or cornet as well as the sound it produces. Still I realized I was okay without it and so I decided not to purchase one of the plastic flugelhorns since I can still get the sound not just by keying it on the keyboard but by playing my horn with my electronic mute which is more natural to me due to my classical training on the cornet. My Woodstock accordion arrived in a brightly colored cardboard box that I have saved it is so adorable. I find it very playable, have composed many songs on it, and will continue to do so. I like to play Italian style accordion music on it, polka, Zydeco, even techno and my own sound styles I have made up that are a fusion of different types of sounds. I also like to play a Cirque du Soleil Mystere style songs on it as I really enjoyed the music from that particular show. I even found I can even compose and play pop style songs on it. The biggest surprise was it has helped me compose orchestrally as it is so easy to hear/imagine an entire string section or horn section and I can work out the rhythms and melodies very quickly, quicker than on my keyboard. I hold it very different, the three bottoms I operate with my right, or bowing hand, as this seems more natural to me since I have played strings and have such a sense memory for that. The others I operate with my left and instead of hooking my thumb in the small strap, I hook my index finger. I have great stretch with my fingers and navigate the instrument this way.It also is great at displaying a new jewelry style I have made up. I had saved the very first piece of jewelry I wore as a newborn, a small baby bracelet. For years, I percolated about it and wondered how I could wear it? I finally figured it out. I am describing this to you in case you still have your infant bracelet so you might be able to wear it by configuring it in a similar way. All you have to do is take a bracelet that fits and is a bit longer; preferably it should be able to stretch up close towards the pinky. Then attach the very small bracelet to this larger bracelet, hook that bracelet around the pinky, like a very large ring held on with a bracelet leash. The small bracelet hangs and moves around the pinky and the large bracelet sashays across the palm and looks fantastic and quite decorative. I have done this and like it. I now enjoy wearing my own very small bracelet I had not worn since I was an infant and not just enjoy looking at it. I have also attached one of my costume jewelry pins to my larger bracelet for additional movement and sparkle around my hand while playing accordion.See, I think it is important to decorate the hands when playing an instrument, but in a comfortable way. This type of jewelry configuration works well for playing these type mini small accordions in my opinion. I have already serenaded my spouse with my little accordion and played for him
