I didn't even know that sauna hats were a thing; with that said I sauna often in a wood fired sauna and I do so at high temps. I saw this and I thought it was worth a try. First of all it is your standard single layer wool bucket hat. It fit as expected and was well made with good stitching etc. It really did make a difference...heat rises and to get a good sweat we really get the sauna cranking; well...my head is exposed to the greatest amount of heat and sometimes I would have to step out of the sauna for a moment before my time was up to cool off my head. With this sauna hat I am able to sustain 20 minutes at high heat with no issue. I am actually shocked how much of a difference it makes.

seems to be real felted wool- heavier duty/construction and fits well. Wearing it in the banya is nice and keeps my head comfy.

This sauna hat worked for me. It is on the large size. It fit me fine, but some people may find it goes down over their face if they have a small head. The wool is soft. First I tried it dry. It kept my head and forehead cooler. Then I tried it wet, soaking it in cool fresh water. That really kept my head cool for a while. I could tolerate the dry sauna much longer. The worst part of a sauna for me is the feeling of claustrophobia when my face gets too hot. I could tolerate the sauna much longer, to my surprise. I recommend giving this hat a try for the price. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Ordered this completely on a whim. I am still struggling to see how wearing a wool hat in the sauna can help keep me cooler, but I figured I'd give it a try anyways. Seems to be very well made, the fabric is soft and comfortable to the touch, and it is surprisingly larger than expected and even fit my jumbo head! I have only tried it outside of the sauna and as expected it was very warm.....my daughter laughed and said I Iooked pretty dorky wearing it, but I'll give it a try this week in the sauna and see if it works as expected and update my review based on what happens.

This wool sauna hat is a must-have if you use the sauna regularly. Protecting your hair from excessive heat is important, and this hat does that really well. It’s comfortable to wear and, while it does look a bit like a goofy bucket hat, the longer length is actually perfect—it extends down to the base of your neck, which is great since that area also has hair that needs protection.After using it, I could definitely tell my hair stayed noticeably cooler compared to going in without it. Obviously its not magical, my hair gets warm but not hot and dry without the hat. I also appreciate the little hook it comes with—makes it easy to hang up and dry after each session. Overall, great function over fashion, and worth it if you sauna often.

Hello All,The SAUNOM all-natural wool Sauna hat has an airy feel with a very wide and open brim upon wearing it. The quality of the unisex hat is very good, with minimal stitching mostly at 3 levels of the hat. Such as the very top, middle, and the brim edges of the Banya hat. The wool seems to have been one weave all throughout the circumference of the Banya hat itself.There is a wool cloth loop ring in the middle interior of the hat for hanging purposes. I've utilized Saunom sauna hats before, and they don't disappoint in function and quality of materials offered. This wool sauna hat is perfect for my sauna sessions. It’s made of 100% natural wool, yet it feels soft and doesn’t itch at all. It protects my head from the heat, so I can stay in longer and more comfortably. The material is breathable and odor resistant, which makes a big difference during intense heat. It fits well and looks great too. A must-have if you’re serious about sauna use.

My coaches at the gym recently told me that it would be a good idea for me to wear protection while using the sauna. I ordered this hat in hopes of keeping my brain a bit cooler while using the sauna. The style of this hat is bucket style, which makes it suitable for any gender. The white color is very neutral and works well with any of my bathing suits. I like to wear this hat in the sauna to protect my head against the intense heat. I am able to turn up the heat much higher when I use the hat. The material is 100% wool, which seems to do a good job at keeping the heat away from my scalp. I do notice a difference in the temperature of my skin and hair when I use the product. The current price of $19.99 seems like a fair deal based on the quality and appearance. This would make a great gift for a sauna enthusiast. The one-size-fits-all did indeed fit my head. I asked my husband to try it on to see if it fit his head as well. I can report that it does fit both my head and my husband‘s head.
