It’s a simple product and it stays in place on the carpet while driving. I do wish it had a steeper angle up since it’s on the floor of my Silverado, but it’s a great little solution.

It tips over in my car and rocks when takling off or stopping. It would be great for a temporary installation inside but for a moving vehicle I would not reccommend it.

This bracket keeps my 959 on my transmission hump in my 3500. I don't do a lot of off roading or get up to a bunch of nonsense, but I do put a lot of road miles on, and it does ride pretty rough, but my radio stays put, and just as important, I can reach it and see it, and more important, it's not in the way. If you're thinking about going this route for a mount, but aren't sure if it'll stay put, I'd say for most purposes it will.

I’ve put a good sized radio, Cobra 148 GTL, onto the mounts. Seems to be held pretty firmly. Will update after a few days of driving.Update: Drove it to work and back and around town took some pretty good turns a little fast on purpose and this thing never budged. Nice alternative to drilling, especially if you have no skill for it.

This is a nifty little product. It workd really well to prop up my Yaesu FT-7250 in my very much old 2001 Toyota Highlander. It really keeps up well with the car movements. I'm very happy with it. However, do get lock washers. It's critical to keep these from wobbling.

This works surprisingly well. I'm using it for a scanner, and the scanner is held in place over all but the most rough terrain. I've had it shift a little doing some heavy off-roading, but it's stayed in place all around town and on the freeway. Pretty happy with it. I'd have rated it 5 stars, but it does feel a little flimsy. Still works well.

Currently waiting for my third one to arrive, I find this product to be a very functional way to mount a CB in my pick up truck. Or to mount one on a table. Or pretty much anywhere, really. It is steady and my radio never even moves from where I put it with this product. If you're looking to avoid drilling holes in your dash this is an excellent solution. It has worked great with my Cobra 29LX, Galaxy DX 979, and Uniden Bearcat 980SSB.

Bought these mount/stands to put my Galaxy DX-949 on the floor between the driver and the passenger of my '97 F250. Works great. Doesn't move around AT ALL and it elevates the radio off the carpet for the speaker to be heard clearer.Very sturdy. Should accommodate most radios.
