I was forming a calcium deposit right where my middle finger meets the hand.. not awesome for lifting.The padding in these has helped a ton, and while I shifted my routine a bit, the deposit has completely dissolved since switching to these gloves.The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the threading is coming undone.

I can't tell you how sceptical and how many hours I spent looking for an inexpensive weight lifting glove with enough grip and cushion for a intermediate body builder like me.. lol. (It's just a hobby) I've been lifting off an on since my early teens and I'm 56 now and I'm deciding to get back in the gym without breaking the bank and this is the 1st purchase on my comeback tour 😉. Wow!! Is all I can say. I've seen some of the pics and reviews and I almost didn't purchase these because a lot of the pics looked like there was little to minimum cushion. And for the price I wouldn't have been surprised if that was the case!! You get what you pay for right?! I've returned nearly all of my purchases over the last few weeks and I was loosing faith in online and Amazon purchases. But when I tell you that these gloves have reenergized my purchase power single handedly, I am not exaggerating!! When I 1st put them on, the fit was tight. And I don't know about you but when I'm handling 245 plus on the bench and doing seated rows and lat spreads, decline, incline, etc.. u get the picture! I want my gloves to fit tight with nice grip and feel really solid and confident in the tasks ahead. You know after a few visits to the gym they're going to break in slightly. I don't know about the longevity of these things but for now I'm super excited, pleased, and all around ecstatic about my purchase. I do believe that the bad reviews just got a bad pair and it's ashame that quality control is not, and I doubt; will ever be what it used to be. But I must have gotten really lucky cause these are perfect and I can't say anything bad in any way about them. So Good Luck, cause I definitely recommend you to get a pair!! For the price, you can't beat it! (Got mines half off by the way but I still think they're worth the full amount and then some). You just have to look around and do all you can to make wise purchases. 👍🏾
