**Background:** I am over 50 and have been hard on my knees over the years. So anytime I need to work while from kneeling position I need to use a cushion or I pay for it later with stiffness and pain. I tried a bunch random pads to stick under my knees. Often they are not enough cushion or just awkward to use. The workpro pad looked convenient and handy so I ordered it.**Build Quality:** Simply Very impressed! First off the canvas cover is, heavy duty canvas, like you'd find on camping equipment. The zippers are all hidden with an extra flap with buttons. The zipper itself is also robust with a nice handy pull. Inside is really good quality foam. I'll get to that in the function. It has a nice easy to grab handle.**Function:** Finding a great knee pad is actually not as easy as you think. You don't want something so thick and bulky that you feel unstable or is a pain to carry around. But then you also want something that doesn't completely compress when you put your weight into it or when you shift to one knee or the other knee. This foam is perfect for this knee cushion. I am 6’ 2” two and 230 pounds. The high-quality closed cell foam is perfect. I can put all my weight one one knee and never bottomed out. Your first contact with the foam is soft, but as you put more pressure in it, it becomes firmer and more supportive so it never bottoms out. I love the way this feels under my knees it's pretty much tuned perfectly (thickness and density of foam) for kneeling. I also have canvas cover. It gives you just a little bit of grip so your knees don't slide. But it also protects the foam from getting torn up.This is instantly my favorite knee cushion.I think this is a great value your getting a really well-made cushion with a very nice cover and great foam inside. It's easy to carry around. My only complaint is I wish it was wider. I'm 6’2” with a big frame and sometimes I like to have my knees a little wider when kneeling and lifting something heavy or reaching for something awkward.

My old closed-foam gardening pad was starting to disintegrate, so I upgraded myself to this foam pad by Workpro. This closed-foam pad is very thick (1.5”) and very dense, with a clever zip-off nylon cover. The heavy-duty nylon cover is interesting. There’s a nylon zipper going around two sides of the pad, and the zipper itself is protected by a full-depth flap that snaps down. Clever design as the flap keeps stress off the zipper, keeps dirt off it, plus makes a smoother outside edge. If the pad gets muddy (something that will happen quite a lot in my garden), the cover can be completely removed and rinsed or washed. The cover also means I’m sitting on fabric, which should be much more comfortable in the summer than sitting on my old vinyl pad.I can’t feel the floor AT ALL when standing or sitting on it. It’s not super cushy– but it's a gardening pad, not a fluffy dining chair cushion. Sitting on the pad is much more comfortable and cleaner than sitting on the bare ground. There was a rubbery smell when I first took off the plastic, but it faded quickly. No noxious “VOC vinyl” PVC-type odors that I could tell, which a lot of other pads have.A unique pad, and well-designed. This is a good one.

I was going to order a simple bare foam pad, but then I saw this one. Glad I ordered it as it was only a few $ more. The foam is indeed 1.5” thick, plus the cover. The cover material feels durable and has great sewing quality. The cover unzips on 2 sides to allow for its removal for cleaning, and it also has 3 snaps that keep the zipper hidden from sight. I’m 175lbs and I dropped my knee onto it with some force (on concrete) and the foam of the pad fully cushioned my weight without bottoming out. Has a simple strap as a handle. All things considered, a nice pad for protecting your knees. Gladly recommended, and well priced around $20.✅ nice design & construction✅ hidden zipper✅ dense foam✅ accurate listing⛔ —---BOTTOM LINE: well made knee padI’ll update this review over time should things change.

I really like this little kneeling pad. I vary between kneeling and squatting when I'm in the garden, and this is so much nicer than kneeling straight on the ground. It's firm and supportive, has a washable cover (thank goodness), and light enough to carry around with me. My one complaint is that I wish it was a little longer, and maybe could fold. My garden is pretty long, and I'd prefer to just scooch down from section to section, but with this I have to pick it up, squat or stand, and move it along the line with me. You might not care if you're not gardening a wide section at a time though. The print is also really lovely in person.

The WORKPRO 17” Kneeling Pad is a well-designed and practical solution for anyone who needs comfortable, reliable knee support during tasks that require extended kneeling. The pad’s standout feature is its 1.5-inch thick high-density NBR foam, which provides excellent cushioning and noticeable shock absorbency—ideal for gardening, household chores, and garage work. The outer Oxford cloth cover feels tough and durable while also being breathable, and it’s clearly built for real-world use. The double-sided zippers and snap buttons make removing the cover for cleaning straightforward, and the extended zipper cord is a small but thoughtful detail that makes access easier, even with gloves on. The foam insert itself stays in place well, and it doesn’t show signs of compressing after use.The built-in handle is stitched securely and makes the pad very portable, while the overall size (17” x 11”) strikes a nice balance between coverage and storage convenience. Though not overly bulky, it’s still substantial enough to kneel on comfortably for long stretches.Overall, this is a solidly built and functional kneeling pad that balances comfort, durability, and ease of maintenance. Whether you’re a frequent gardener or need a pad for jobs around the house or garage, it’s a smart and affordable addition to your toolkit.
