This tool bag is made of a heavy canvas, with 3 pockets on each side and a wider pocket on each end. The side pockets have an elastic band about an inch above to top of the pocket to hold the handle of the tool that's in that pocket, so it's harder for them to fall out.It has a heavy duty web belt loop on each side, stitched to the side, that serve as carrying handles. There's a padded velcro part on one of the handles that holds both handles together for easier carrying.There's a large snap in the middle of the top of the bag to hold it shut. There's also a snap on both ends to cynch it shut, so the opening is smaller and items don't fall out when it's being moved. When the side snaps are unsnapped the bag can be fully opened to get what you need inside.There's a black cloth lining inside the bag, and the main compartment is one open space; there are no pockets or straps to get in the way.The bottom is plastic, so it can be put on a damp surface and the water won't seep into the bag. It's easy to wipe clean, because it's plastic.It's not too big, and I can fit the tools I need in the outside pockets and carry a couple bottles of water or soda in the main compartment if I'm going to be outside for awhile.I like the tough canvas material and the snaps on the top so it's not wide open at the top.

I ordered this bag for use in gardening, and it is exactly what I had expected (and hoped would be true): durable, rugged, and large and roomy enough for a well-organized tool and supplies tote. It seems very well made, like it will hold up for years, and from design to materials and stitching, there is nothing flimsy about it. It's also easy to clean, lined on the inside (sewn in), and I was happily surprised by the tough hard-plastic interior/exterior bottom that protects the bag from wear. Snaps on the right and left sides of the top let you taper the opening or keep it unsnapped to stand like an open box. One snap in the center will close it, tapered or not. Also features eight deep pockets and six elastic straps around the sides for exterior storage. I'll have to double-check, but I get the impression it's fully made in the USA. If that's true, I give it a sixth star. :) The bottom line: Upon initial use and assessment, I expect that I'm going to love this Workpro bag. I highly recommend it, not only for gardening but for other uses, as well, including musicians' gear, artists' tools and supplies, and cleaning or houseplant supplies indoors. When I go to work in my vegetable garden, I haul a lot around with me. My hand tools, a small bag of fertilizer, clips, jute, etc. And it can get messy when I put them away as clinging dirt falls off. This gardening work bag covers all bases. It is made of a heavy-duty canvas and is very well constructed. Plenty of side pouching to insert hand tools. On the top lip of the bag on each end and center are three snaps where you can narrow or close the opening to the bag. The hand straps have a Velcro wrap around to secure the braided handles together into one hand-grasp handle. The best thing about it is the base which is a hard plastic type of material molded into a 1.5" deep rectangular basin and securely attached to the bag's canvas body. Waterproof floor and easy to clean out. I am really going to enjoy using this work bag.

I spend a lot of time digging in my gardens in the spring and summer and I am always misplacing my tools. I saw this garden tool bag and decided to get it. I am thrilled for many reasons! First of all, it is tall enough and the pockets are deep enough to hold my garden tools securely. This is taller than the ones I have seen in stores and have avoided. Win Win! Then, I love the hard waterproof bottom. I can set in in the grass and it should stay pretty dry - I am often outside when the grass is still very dewy. Also the hard bottom will help keep the bag upright. Nice handles that can secure with a snap if you would like. The inside of the bag is quite roomy - I could carry containers of my plant fertizlizer in there, water bottles, or even quart size plants if I am walking the yard to find a spot to plant them. And then if you want to make that inside opening a bit smaller (when not in use) there are a couple of snaps on either side to snap it smaller. The bag is a bright green (pretty color!) so you can easily spot in the yard!Definitely I would recommend this bag - sooooo happy with this!

Have needed this for a long time. Hoping it will save me some steps and time. So far I really like it. Trying to figure out some way to hook on my wheel barrow.

This bag is made of heavy canvas and has a hard bottom. It has plenty of room to hold all my gardening hand tools. The hard bottom allows the bag to stand on it's own. The bag is of a quality that will make it last for a long time. The pockets that circle the bag are roomy. I can fit a rather big shovel in one. I used to carry these tools around my property in a bucket. I like this bag much more.

Nothing amazing about this bag, I was going to give a three star review, but I realized how much space I had left after transferring my tools and supplies out of my bag I've used for longer than I can remember. The capacity allows it to function as a family bag instead of just mine. It helps me keep track of the kids things too. The price is pretty good and the bag is holding up well. It travels well and is comfortable and easy to carry. Great for those with large gardens or seperate gardens.
