The WORKPRO Socket Bottle Opener, (3/8 Inch Drive x 14 mm) looks great on my Keychain. This innovative idea works great as a keychain, 14mm socket and a bottle opener. In testing, the chrome does not come off when using this item as a bottle opener. You can even use the 3/8 inch drive to fit other sockets if you need to keep let's say an extra 10mm on hand.This socket bottle opener isn't a one trick pony and is made by a company that manufacturers great tools. I would recommend buying one for yourself and others to gift as well. Impressive construction overall and should last a long time. Great value for the money too.

I love this. I do a lot of projects around the house and work on my car, so it's nice to have an extra ring on my carabiner that will hold a deep socket. I may eventually swap this out for a 10mm deep socket, but for now I'll keep the 14mm bottle opener on it. I did test the bottle opener - just to make sure it works, mind you - and it works great. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? Cheers!

I was surprised to see how effective as a bottle opener this 14mm socket was made to be lol it retains is very nice chrome finish even on the bottle cap cut out. It's easy to clean and easy to use - the socket provides enough grab to pop a bottled cola.3/8ths drive keychain works with any sock if for whatever reason you need to carry a socket on your keys (maybe a 10mm?).If added to my keychain, it significantly increases the weight. That's a no go for me - I found myself keeping it on a hook back in the shop for whenever it's needed.At it's current price even without the applied discount, It's still a really cool gift to anyone who might get a kick out of it.

I love it, but they missed a good opportunity.This is a 14mm socket. This should have been a 10mm socket. The 10mm is the perfect socket that is used all of the time. That makes it perfect for a keychain, and it's still big enough to open a bottle cap.Also, this is a 3/8 drive. If this was a 10mm, 1/4 drive, it would be a smaller keychain, more useful, and also be a bottle opener.As a 14mm, I like it, but I have no use to carry it as a keychain; I might as well just carry a small bottle opener.

Why didn't anyone think of this sooner!!??!!??First off, it's fully functional good quality 6 point 14MM. I tested it out by loosening and re-tightening a random nut and bolt on my power rack. Works just like every other socket I have. I do prefer it to be 6 pt though because I somehow always strip bolts if it's 12 pt socket.Now, to the fun innovative awesomeness of what this item is. As a bottle opener, it'll be fine. Not sure I would always carry it on my keychain though as a 14 mm socket does have a noticeable weight to it. It's by no means super heavy, but.... you can tell you have a socket in your pocket.Great thing though, the keychain ring is probably the most clutch item I think. Since it's a 3/8th socket adapter, it will make a great tool keeping a shorty 10mm, 12mm or any other socket you'll need when fixing your car, or whatever else you fancy to work on.As for the item itself, good finishing on the socket, no rough edge. Top notch high quality finish. Feels solid. Overall, for the price, I may get a few more as gifts for my buddies as we all are always losing our darn 12 and 14 mm. At this price, it's actually a really good deal I think. As with most of my deeper socket 14mm sockets, I will probably lose it before I break the socket lol. Bonus with the key ring too. Hopefully I'll lose less things now lol.

Nice bottle opener. It's heavy and sticks to the keychain part very well. Very durable and makes for a great gift to any of your mechanic friends.

I wasn't sure whether I'd enjoy using this strange contraption. After using it several times in my garage, I'm 100% sold on this oddity. It removes bottle caps with the greatest of ease. It functions as a socket just as well. In fact, the 14mm socket fits both my Toyota & Lexus oil drain plugs. And I always know where to find it. I don't use it on a keychain because it's just too large, too heavy, and I don't need immediate access to a bottle opener.You just may want to buy one for yourself & another for a friend. It's one of those tools I never thought I needed until I got one.

The bottle opener is effective and the 14mm socket is reasonably tight. The keychain has a very strong ball detent hold on the socket and has not let go unexpectedly after weeks on my keys.
