It jams up a lot with sticks and leaves when pruning trees.

I don't give 5 stars lightly.I have seen this advertised and always wanted to get one. I'm thrilled that it's finally happened and I can share my experience in this review.I must admit that I was nervous, but have been using various trimmers for years.I got this too early in the year, not able to get out and work due to either the cold or the rain. Also, must admit that I was not aware that oil was needed, causing further delay in my first use.In reading the manual I must admit that some of the instructions were not clear as I've not had any previous experience with this type of tool. I also watched a couple of videos on YouTube. Turned out that it was simpler than I thought.Couldn't believe how lightweight it was and that it was basically ready to go right out of the box. Loved that it came with it's own storage bag! I'm overwhelmed with the chargers, cords, etc from all of my other gadgets.I started with a few low hanging smaller branches. It was so easy using the Workpro, couldn't believe it! It cut through the 1 and 2 inch thick branches in seconds. Now that all the lower limbs were off this tree I needed to go bigger. I was able to cut larger limbs, at least 5 inches with no problems.I might have gone a bit crazy and went after everything I could find to cut down. I had some smaller trees that had grown from forgotten nuts by the squirrels and some thick vines that my neighbors planted along the fence. The vines are thick and have destroyed my fence. Also, not an unusual level of vibrations, easy to grip, lightweight, easy to maneuver safety switch and run the saw comfortably with 1 hand. I was able to get to branches that were close to structures without hitting those objects. The saw stopped as soon as I removed my finger which made it stop as soon as I needed it to.Cutting at an angle was easily done. Particularly loved that there were so few shavings due to the guard. The chain was simple to tighten, once I got the hang of it.In all, I had 4 piles of branches. I'm not sure how long I used the saw, but was outside a couple of hours. Still had 56% battery life left. The battery life display is a huge plus! Nothing worse than starting a project that can't be finished due to a dead battery that you weren't expecting.I'm sure that I left out a lot of the specifics. I wanted to share my excitement for this product and show that anyone can handle and use this product.

It looks kinda cheap, but it's actually a handy little pruning chainsaw. It came with a little bottle for the oil, but no oil; some chain oil would've been nice so I didn't have to go out and buy some, but whatever I guess. Do NOT run this without chain oil!! It also would've been nice if they had included a standard Acme threaded area so you could attach this to a pole, but that would be a luxury item, I guess. All in all, I really do like it for light work. I like how the guard is able to lift up and out of the way if needed. It's a neat saw.

I used on my ornamental grass. It’s very fiberous so I always had to use hand pruning tool in past years and the job took hours! I was able to cut all in no time!! Very happy with the performance!!

Pretty light, makes it handy for quick "small" jobs. I say small but with some adjustments/technique you can use it on bigger trees/branches too. Comes with a bag and a set of accessories which is really nice and convenient. The safety feature to press the trigger is questionable, it definitely keeps you from pressing it on accident but it feels odd that some times I end up using my other hand to press the safe switch and one for the trigger instead of one hand for both.Perhaps because of the size but not having the oil pump on the chainsaw takes out some level of efficiency for this product. And the bottle it comes with which I assume is for the oil, it might just be me but I didn't realize the cap is two piece. I was about to cut a tip on the cap to dispense the oil until it twisted off while I was doing it. A pretty handy chainsaw with a few nuances.
