Am I doing it wrong? All these reviews raving about how their cats now use the box. My kitten is still going right outside the box. What am I doing wrong? I had no issue with spillage during delivery. It just does not work.

I was skeptical at first, as we have tried everything to get my son's cat to use the litter box. This product with their litter, has been a game changer.

This worked for our new rescue boy start using his litter box. He was having trouble, probably due to anxiety and settling in and getting used to sharing the litter box with his new cat siblings. I was already cleaning the litter box more frequently w/ mixed results so I started using Worlds Best Cat Litter booster and it seems to have done the trick. It's been over a week w/ no spraying outside the box or any other issues.

Verdict: Not sure.Story time:My new sifting litter box was delivered. I have a 40 lb bag of pine pellets from Tractor Supply. Up until this point, my cat had been using clay litter. I threw everything out - the cheap, broken plastic litter box, the empty clay litter container, the dirty, used clay litter. I filled the new sifting litter box with the pine pellets. My cat sniffed it but didn’t use it.After a little while, I started to worry so I sprinkled some litter booster evenly throughout the litter. My cat was interested in the movement, sniffed a bit but ultimately remained uninterested. Okay, now I was panicking. Hours passed and my cat still hadn’t gone to the bathroom.I poured out half the container of litter booster on top of the pine pellets hoping it would be softer on his paws or at least remind him of the clay litter he was used to, since it kind of looks like hardened clay litter bits. For good measure, I also carried him to the litter box several times but he instantly jumped out each time. It had been over 24 hours with no pottying. I tried to figure out if he was going elsewhere.Desperate, I used catnip to lure him onto the pine pellets. Very, very cautiously, he stepped in with all four paws, started breathing a little faster, and peed. Okay! It was on the edge of the litter box but that’s progress! I brought out a lick treat and tried to get him onto the litter box again several hours later (he hadn’t used it since), but he wouldn’t put his back paws in - only the front and even that wasn’t guaranteed. Second lick treat, still nothing. He would rather pass up the treat than go in the litter box.The whole time, from the moment I completely changed his litter box until now, he’s been meowing confusedly around the box, as if he needs to go but doesn’t find it acceptable. I’m so relieved and happy to say that he finally peed a second time and pooped on his own on top of the pine pellets at 3 am. He didn’t cover the poop at all but that’s okay, baby! The litter booster did give me hope and eased my anxiety, so it may be worth having on hand for that reason... I’m not entirely sure how effective it was in getting my cat to use the completely new litter but he did after 48 hours, which could mean something.

I was skeptical, but this stuff actually works. One of my cats was avoiding the litter box, and after adding this, she started using it again almost right away. It smells natural (not perfumey), and I like that it’s made from safe, plant-based ingredients. I did notice a little dust, and I feel like I need to change the litter more often to keep odors down—but it’s worth it to avoid accidents around the house. Pricey, yeah, but effective. I’ll keep buying it.

We adopted one stray who's had a little anxiety around the litter box. We've used different versions of World's Best Cat Litter for years and have switched back and forth between the Multi-Cat and Good Habits Cat Attract. I'm very happy that they make a separate attractant so that we can go back to using the Multi-Cat and just use this as an additive until she no longer has anxiety. It absolutely works. Without it, we have more accidents outside of the box. It's low odor—it actually has a natural cereal grain smell to it—low dust, and doesn't make me worry about the cats or anyone breathing it in. We initially tried Dr. Elsy's which also worked, but was very dusty. I'm absolutely a fan of World's Best. It's by far the best litter we've tried and this is a great all-natural way of building better habits.
