They are a little thin, they will bend on hard ground. The way to install these is to run a lawn edger in the ground where you plan to use them, this way they get the depth and less likely to bend when hammered in

I was looking for a metal lining that was sturdy enough to hold in mulch and separate our garden beds from cement/grass that wasn’t the flimsy round plastic stuff. This was so easy to install and looks amazing! My only complaint would be is various sizing would be ideal, you would need a saw to cut it down to specific sizing. Luckily we made it fit for our project. Buying more to complete all our gardens!

I have this product edging just about everywhere in my garden. I even used it to hold back sand that my backyard is on a slight incline on. Once installed, it stays put when compared to that plastic edging thats sold in the big box stores

These 6Inch pieces allow you to pound them into the ground (use a rubber mallet) and still have 3-4" exposed to hold in mulch. They are HEAVY and solid STEEL--they will probably eventually rust, but the powder coating is thick and strong. I expect they will last well and stand up to the gardener.

This is the best garden edging that I have used. I wanted a taller edging than the plastic ones that I have used and one that could be driven into the ground and stay put. At 6 inches high and made of a sturdy galvanized metal this edging is exceptional. After installing my first order I liked it so much that I ordered a second set to replace some of my existing edging. The stakes are an excellent design too, nice and wide to hold together the adjacent sections. Great product!

I needed to retain soil in a terraced garden bed - these work well. Remember to wear gloves - which are helpfully provided.
