GE said my style of fridge didn't have another one that would work, the appliance parts by me said the same thing. Well this one works for any GE external water dispenser that has this style. My old one was chrome but this one actually matches the fridge better as I have black stainless.

This item came in a genuine GE plastic bag and was a perfect replacement for our broken paddle. A bit more expensive than the same item on the GE website, but shipping was fast so overall I'm satisfied.

This product was not quite the same as the original. The actuator arm was about 1/4” shorter than the original, so it is barely long enough to make contact with the switch… causing it to wedge against the very tip of the switch causing it to stick sometimes..

My ice/water paddle broke on my fridge, so I scanned the code in the fridge and it took me to the manufacturer parts site. Which was pretty cool, but unfortunately the paddle was out of stock. I found this one on Amazon and it was a little more expensive but I’m a prime member so it came out as a push. Worked like a charm, was a drop in replacement.
