Review of ShunChengFa wrap Dispenser with Cutter, 2 in 1 Plastic Wrap Dispenser, for Kitchen Plastic Wrap, Wax Paper and Aluminum FoilThis plastic cutter feels a bit flimsy, too light weight to last very long. It won't take industrial abuse but it will likely handle the everyday use of a household kitchen if handled with gentle respect. The cutter/slicer mechanism works and is safe, but it feels flimsy. The container itself feels a bit weak but it fits into my drawer (measure carefully).I've managed to keep the cut edge of the plastic wrap from falling back into the opening because it remains clinging to a strip along the edge of the cutter, after you cut. That is a very nice feature. The foil edge has no problem remaining outside the opening either because of its natural tendency to stay put where you place it. I have not tested it with wax or parchment paper yet. I have a feeling they might slip back into the opening after you cut because they are not made to cling like plastic wrap.The standard-sized rolls need to be placed into the cutter with stand-offs (we are using folded cardboard for now) or else they will move about and make cutting difficult. The cutter only has a span of 11 and a half inches so it does not cut from end to end but leaves a half inch or so of uncut material at one end. This is not a problem if you secure the rolls in place (using stand-offs) because the last half inch will tear off easily after you cut. If you don't secure the rolls with stand-offs it will be more tricky to cut consistently.The magnetic strips (included) are strong enough to hold the cutter in place since one does not have to use force to cut/rip the edge. I tested it on my fridge door and it is strong enough to be used as a fridge door handle for a standard, old-school style fridge. Not that I recommend using it for that purpose, it is simply a way to describe the strength of the magnetic strips.The labels enclosed with this cutter do not stick because the paper they were stuck to came off with the label, as if they were very old or kept in a wet environment for too long.It's a nice idea for a cutter, but it is flimsy and needs modification to work well. It seems too much to spend the current $22.98 on this thing. I would price it much lower. If they could improve the quality and the functions mentioned then I'd consider paying what is currently asked.I just noticed that you can find this on Amazon now for $19.98. This dispenser holds both plastic wrap and aluminum foil, which clears up some drawer space. The slide cutter works really well, it gives a clean tear every time, much better than those flimsy box cutters. Loading new rolls is easy, just pop the ends off and slide them in. It fits standard-sized rolls without any problem. I like that it keeps everything neat and tidy in one place. I tried putting it on the fridge using the magnets, but it kept falling off, so I just keep it in a drawer now.

Setting it up was straight forward, although mine was missing the magnets that allow you to install on the fridge. Bummed about that as I wanted to free up some drawer space. It hold both rolls securely and is not difficult to remove the lid. The cutter does seem flimsy so we'll see how long that lasts.

I think to me that this is a great storage unit to hold your rolls of foil, wax paper, plastic wrap, etc. It allows you to bring the end through a slot, and then cut it with a sliding blade. It keeps things organized and makes handling plastic wrap especially, easy to cut or tear. I never am able to handle it and not have it stick to itself. So this makes things so much easier.You can then use the provided labels to put on each slot. You could even get more than one to add to it, especially if you love to cook and use parchment paper, and other things. It also helps you keep an eye on these items so you know when if runs out, and needs replenished. It works for me. Plus it keeps my drawers neat! Just be sure you buy the right size to fit, especially foil and parchment paper. As they come in bigger sizes.

Very impressed with how easily this cut through cling wrap! So easy to cut through tin foil as well. It saves space and organizes my drawer. It’s plastic and easy to open and reload. It looks good. Solid milk white would be better but it is far better than cardboard boxes that get stuck in the drawers when closing. It has little suction feet if needed but I don’t need them for drawer storage so I’m not using them. I love this item and definitley recommend it

I'm someone who usually struggles with ripping food wraps cleanly. About halfway through the roll, the box is so beaten up that it makes using the wrap even harder. Honestly, how do people cut food wrap wherever they want so easily?The installation was simple and I love that it has two compartments — one for food wrap and one for aluminum foil — both absolute essentials for anyone who loves cooking.However, I ran into an issue after cutting the wrap. There's no place to hold the edge, so it tends to slip back into the box and stick. This means I have to spend extra time trying to find the edge of the crystal-clear wrap and carefully scratch it free — and I've already lost a few inches of wrap because of it. I definitely need to figure out a way to avoid this.

We put this thing right on the fridge; the magnets are no joke. I honestly expected it to slowly slide down or shift around when I pulled the wrap, but nope, it’s solid. The cutter works really smoothly. Just zip it done, and it is easier (and way cleaner) than tearing the wrap by hand and hoping it doesn’t ball up or stick to itself. I mostly use it for plastic wrap, but we’ve tried foil and wax paper, too, and there are no issues there. The slots are wide enough that swapping rolls is easy, and I like being able to see how much is left through the top. The only minor thing is that if your roll is super thick, it takes a little wiggling to fit just right. But once it’s in, it’s good to go.
