Ordered this kit with a new inner fairing. The brackets are about double the thickness of the originals. Wonder if the extra thickness was taken into account when they were put together? Everything went together very well until it came to mounting the radio. The opening between the 2 brackets is approximately 1/8 in narrower than the factory radio. I was able to get it in but it was difficult. I did use a new inner fairing so it is possible that that is to blame also.
