We carry a complete spare pump for our Waverunner when we go out of town. Both pumps have WSM housings on them. When we suck something up we can easily switch pumps in the field. Then when we get home we service the pump we removed by replacing this wear ring along with a freshened SOLAS impeller. We always have a back up pump that is fresh in the trailer, and we have parts on the shelf to service the pump that is coming out.
