The look of this is a short jacket with longer sleeves but the sleeves were spot on. It has a thumb holder and some extra pockets on the inside. Overall, the jacket is super comfy.

I got this hoodie for my 8 year old sister and she loves it! She loves the color and loves how it fits. She was looking for a zip up hoodie for school and was so happy she got it.

a nice light zip up hoodie that is perfect for teen girls. my daughter loves it, light enough to wear over something to keep warm, but not enough to make her hot. we got a neutral color so she can wear it with just about anything. quality seems good, no loose threads and the zipper works smoothly.

I ordered this hoodie for my daughter (about to turn 12) in size 11-12. Based on the measurements provided, and my understanding of how to use them, we were afraid the sleeves would be too long and the body length would be longer than she wanted for the cropped style if we went with the 13-14...... we should have sized up. While the body length fits her where she would like, the thumb holes are barely usable for her. In my experience, when measurements are listed for both shoulder and sleeve length, the sleeve measurement begins at the start of the shoulder seam (since the shoulder measurement has already been accounted for), but not in the case of this hoodie - the sleeve measurement begins at the hood seam.For size 11-12, the body length is supposed to be 16.7 inches, the one we received fell under 16.5 inches. The shoulder width is supposed to be 20.3 inches, ours was just under 20.25inches (so pretty close). The biggest discrepancy was the sleeve length (maybe they would have fit better had it been accurate), it is supposed to be 25.2 inches, while the one we received is barely over 24.25 inches. Even though my understanding was wrong, the measurements on the sleeves still fell short according to their chart.Aside from measurement issues, the hoodie itself seems to be made well. The thumbholes even have extra stitching to reinforce them. My daughter says it is very comfortable and she really likes the style of it, but it is not a heavy (or even midweight) sweatshirt by any means. I have washed it a few times now and it is holding up well. I do not dry it, as we don't want the sleeves to shrink even shorter.I do appreciate that the company took the time to brand the bag it comes in, which I feel shows pride in their company (rather than just a clear bag or vacuum sealed bag that so much stuff comes in nowadays).Overall, I would consider buying this hoodie in the larger size for my daughter, but only if it were on a decent sale. It was $28.02 when I ordered it, which is a sale price... but the regular price of $35.99 seems quite overpriced for a youth lightweight unbranded hoodie. The quality seems good but for as quickly as kids outgrown things or change their minds about their style, I try to stay around $20 or under per item for them. I would recommend this hoodie, just watch for a sale and pay attention to measurements (if in doubt, size up).

I have to admit that this cropped, zip-up sweatshirt is really cute, and my daughter absolutely loves how it fits (true to size, too) but I feel like for the price it could have had the fleecy inside. The material is thicker, and not cheap, so it does keep some warmth, but when I think of "sweatshirts" I think of them as having the super warm and fuzzy insides. Despite my disappointment in the inside material, I can't take hardly any stars away because it's still really nice quality (even the zipper is great and holding up well) and because my daughter is enamored with it, like, SO in love. She especially loves the "cropped" look of it (it's not too cropped though, which I like) and the thumb holes are a nice touch, too. I've washed and dried it probably 2-3 times now and it comes out looking great every time.
