The Water Witch submersible electronic bilge pump switches allow boat owners to forever rid themselves of the archaic outdated float switch. Instead of an unreliable and short-lived mechanical float switch, our electronic bilge switches have no moving parts and require no adjustments. This eliminates the chance of your battery dying or your pump burning out because of a jammed-on float switch. Temperature, humidity and electrical noise will not effect this switch, nor will it interfere with other electronics. Supports up to 15 Amps. Dimensions: 2”W x 1.335”H x 1”D. Delay on 6-8 Seconds. Delay off 14-16 Seconds.

I really like these float switches vs. old style mechanical float types. They are so easy to mount by clamping to the bilge pump hose. Simply rotating the switch instantly adjusts the water level you desire to trigger at. No screwing things into the hull. Best part is customer service I had go bad after several years and emailed. I received an instant reply and they replaced under warranty.

Had old style bilge pump water level switch that was unreliable. My boat sits on the trailer most of the year so to have the switch go bad and burn up my pump was not good. Now I feel more secure that when the boat is put in water the switch and pump will work consistently.

I've been using these Water Witch sensors since owning my first sailboat back in the 80's. I've only had one give me a problem over all this time and the company replaced it under warranty. The thing I like about these sensors is how they don't rely on moving parts to work like most bilge alarms/switches. Also they are very small. How I use them is to wire them to a standard self contained bilge pump that has a float switch inside. The way I connect the wires the automatic bilge pump (that contains its own float switch) will come on if/when the water rises to about 3/4". With my wiring the pump will come and a buzzer will sound.I attach the Water Witch to the output hose of the automatic bilge pump and so if the bilge pump doesn't come on (such as if its internal float switch fails) and the water level reaches the Water Witch at about the 1.5 inch level . . . then the Water Witch sensor/switch will supply power direct to the bilge pump and also sound the buzzer. Using this arrangement provides me with a built-in backup.
