Band is clearly made cheaply, doesn't feel like a surplus band, but that's okay. The cover itself is nice, after some water it fits nice. The colour isn't exact to the image, but it still looks fine, should fade nicely. It doesn't feel like cotton, but hey, it's on a helmet, who cares.

This cover does the job for my Halloween costume as a Vietnam War US Soldier. Fits on a M1 repro with some tugs and pulls.
