The helmet arrived in a secure package with foam protection making sure it arrived in great condition. The first thing I noticed was the weight. It feels very similar to the weight of an actual helmet. Usually replica gear is flimsy and more about looks than actual durability and quality. Not the case here, this thing is solid. The chin strap is also good quality and the insert on the inside is really great. I am not joking when I say I was shocked. The stickers are a nice touch but a little on the cheap side, not worth putting on this outstanding helmet IMO. But they are there if you want them. The netting and cats eyes band fit well and give it an even more authentic look. I got this to display on a shelf but I could easily see a person using it for actual roleplay or other physical events where durability and authenticity matters a lot more. The helmet exceeded my expectations in just about every way from the netting to the strap to the insert. Great item IMO and a good value at this price point.

A beautiful reproduction that seems to be made really well. It seems to have had a lot of thought going into it and I was pretty excited to get it. The paint is well done and I like how you can add stickers to it though I don't plan to. The inside has a nice abs plastic holder for the leather strap and the cloth parts to keep the helmet from sitting on your head directly. I think it provides very good value as well. I plan to put it next to my grandfather's flag to honor him more.
