They work. However the sleep feature creates some confusion. There are jumper pads on the back that keep the board out of sleep mode. On the boards I received there is no solder connecting the jumper pads but there is still continuity between the two pads and the board stays on by default. I ran a razor between the two pads which seemed to break the continuity - so I believe there is a trace connecting the pads. After that, the motor will not run when the sleep pin is pulled low. When I set the sleep pin high the motor will run. It’s worth noting that there is a photo on this listing which says ULT is the sleep pin. But in my testing EEP is the working (and expected) sleep pin.
