I have replaced two of these on my Veloster. After the second one failed I realized that the assembly around it is not waterproof, so water gets into the latch and it fails. I sealed the whole thing with silicone and that should fix the problem.Be aware that when this part fails, you may only hear an occasional “click” at first, but then it fails in a way that will drain the battery in a few hours.

2012 veloster only has one plug and it's only 2 pin I should have removed first to verify fitment

This switch is not a direct replacement for 2021 hyundai veloster. It has an extra plug that the orginal fitment does not have. the other plug does not fit either.

ONLY LASTED WORKING 1 WEEK, WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME REPLACENING, I JUST WILL SEND IT BACK RIGHT NOW. STARTS ACTING UP UNLOCKING AND OPENING THE HATCH BY ITSELF.
