Installation:

  • 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • 2. Remove the following parts.
  • a. Liftgate upper trim.
  • b. Liftgate side trim.
  • c. Liftgate lower trim.
  • d. Liftgate latch and lock actuator.
  • 3. Disconnect the connector.
  • 4. Pull out the retainer in the direction of the arrow.
  • 5. Remove the liftgate opener switch.
  • 6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

So far it's handling the day in and day out use. I purchased 2 of them for a spare as I plan on get the Pathfinder to over 150K. So might need one down the road. But works great and for the price it is worth it.

The connector that connects to the electrical wiring doesn’t fit. It is too thick. I had to sand it down to make it fit.
