Have a 2010 Chevy Tahoe... The EVAP vent solenoid went bad, so ordered a new one. A Genuine GM part.Well, GM decided to change a perfectly fine plug into something else... Likely so they could sell something similar to this adaptor and make more money off the backs of people that like their vehicles.Anyway, I ordered this adaptor and it fit perfectly and now my EVAP vent solenoid works just as perfect.Perfect length, plugs fit well on both ends.

Wiring on 2012 Camaro connector was cut right up next to the head of the plug, making it nearly impossible to salvage the current connector. Decided to order this and hope that I could cut off the oval plug end an splice this into the existing wiring to solve my issue. Checked the rouded square connector side and it fit the vapor vent perfectly. Cut off the oval connector side and spliced this connector into the existing wiring. Vent solenoid was able to actuate open and closed when commanded and seems to be working properly now. Much cheaper than trying to purchase the GM genuine connector from a dealer or anywhere else (~$20). Cannot comment on the oval connection part as I cut that off to splice into the wiring, but looked like it would have worked fine.One thing to note: The rounded square connector does not have the red locking connector like the factor connector had. However, this is not really an issue since the connector still clicks into place with a push tab.

When replacing the vapor canister vent valve, grab one of these Solenoid Jumper Wiring Harness Connector's (Unless its included) as there's a different electrical connector on the later valves.
