We refill the 5 gallon water bottles at the store so when transporting them we been using a lid similar to these. I ordered these though because they have the loop for the lid to hang off of the bottle from. The old ones we always had to make sure we did not lose the lid. It’s a little challenging to get the lid on, but that’s just reassuring that it is a snug fit and it’s not going to just fall off. These are great for transporting or for storing your bottles in the water bottle rack. Not only are they very convenient since they will be hanging from the bottles, but also we will not have to worry about possibly forgetting the lid when we take the bottles in to refill them.

I actually like these quite a lot! - They fit and hold very snug and secure and I’ve had no issues with them leaking or opening when carrying the jugs on their side - I unintentionally broke a couple of the straps, but I don’t think I mind too much as I like to take them to clean them each time I place one in the machine - Overall a great solution for us now that we’ve swapped to refills instead of exchanges - 9.6/10

I've been living rural in tiny homes and now after 22ft. Camper and can vouch that having a 5gal. Water reserve for drinking is very beneficial if you don't have a Berkey or something like that. These have a really cool insert feature and ring to keep it on jug that helps ensure no spills during transport and keeps it on jug in between. Great bulk buy for backup or added extra 5gal jugs. Super easy to use especially for those with weakened use of hands with nice flexible silicone design. Absolutely recommend 100%.

These are working for both my 3 gallon and 5 gallon water jugs. For the 3 gallon jug, I had to put the silicone piece inside the mouth of the bottle to create a tight fit and seal. The 5 gallon jug had a wider mouth, so the silicone piece went on the outside of the mouth and created a tight seal. Both methods have made the jugs leak proof.The silicone lids are durable and feel really well made. I like the fact that there's a ring so that I can keep it on the water jug when it's in between fill ups. These silicone lids are very functional and easy to use.
