We bought this in the early spring and it has been going all summer. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn’t have any lighting in it, but we bought a Solar pin light that shines down on it at night and it looks fabulous. I have to fill it up every couple of days, due to evaporation (we have ours in the sun), which is no problem. And every few times, we have to lift the ball and pull the pump out to clean the intake vent, as it filters little bits of debris and slows down the flow. But this is normal maintenance with any fountain. Overall, we love it! It is so nice and relaxing to have a water feature on our deck and we get lots of compliments on it!

Out of the box, is a very simple design, and relatively easy assembly. Main thing to remember, don't drop anything, as you don't want to damage any visible part of the fountain on a hard surface. Seems like it might chip or crack or something. Ok, so proper terminology is critical during operation. Other reviewers have mentioned that it leaks. It does not leak, the reservoir is quite solid. But it does splatter . . . a lot. I would have to say it is very likely just a bad design. There is enough water splattering off the ball that it will accumulate at the base of the fountain, perhaps giving the impression of a leak, but it is not. And it will empty within a short period of time, maybe 12 to 24 hours. I saw another reviewer with an elaborate outdoor fix to the problem, but I had a simpler fix. Amazon sells a square planter drip tray for $6.99, listed as a saucer by the HC Companies, that is dark gray, a close match in color to the fountain. I drilled holes for draining into reservoir, and another hole for the riser hose. I then painted the drip tray with Flex-Seal, I used black, and then filled the drip tray with black smooth river rocks, also from Amazon. With this fix, it does not splatter at all, as the drip tray catches all the splatters, and the 1 gallon reservoir lasted 5 days before normal evaporation required me to refill. I bought this in the winter, so it is currently running inside my house. All types of fountains should be disassembled and/or brought inside during the winter so the freezing water doesn't damage any of the parts or appearance. When outside during hot weather, reservoir will probably not last the full 5 days. This really is a nice fountain, and I'm really proud of the low cost and better-looking way I fixed a poor design, but I'm sure with a little imagination, there could be other fixes. One final note. Because resin fountains can potentially accumulate mineral deposit staining over time, I'm experimenting with an RV water mineral filter attached to my garden hose to fill reservoir, trying to decrease or eliminate any mineral deposits on my fountain. Hopefully this will keep my fountain looking good for many years.

Looks very nice and good value for the price but should advertise more clearly that the motor will not function if the water is above 95°. I live in texas and almost our entire summer months, the temperature is above 95 plus this is a black fountain, so the water is too hot to run the fountain at all. I have been putting ice in my fountain 30 minutes before I want to run it. It has been a major hassle.

Looks great but needs to be filled with water daily.Pump quit working in less then 3 months. Very disappointed with the product.

No matter how we adjusted the pump this water feature did not work like the video showed. We got two of them and they spill water everywhere and run themselves out of water. Loved the look and size but it did not perform.
