Purchased 2 packages of test tubes and received them. They were as advertised and will work however I ended up with 3 of them broken but I’m surprised there weren’t more broken. They were packaged all together, nothing between them, wrapped in tissue paper.

For some tasks, if handled gently, these test tubes will do the job. But be warned: they're extremely fragile. I've broken half a dozen of these, mostly on their first use. One I put into a test tube rack and let it drop about an inch into position, something that other test tubes do fine; this one broke. Several others broke as I was cleaning them, during moderate brushing with a test tube brush. In all cases, a piece about 1/4" in diameter broke from the bottom of the tube. I'm lucky none broke with hazardous chemicals inside, and if you deliberately want a single-use test tube that you can be gentle with, these would fit the bill. But don't expect them to stand up to regular lab handling.
