I did a lot of research before buying a star projector to help my imaginative son fall asleep easier and I'm very glad that I found this one.The less tech, the better in my opinion - less to go wrong and less hassle to set up. This has no Bluetooth, no speaker, no animated lights or lasers, no apps, just a chill image projected on your wall or ceiling, slowly spinning (or not), faintly illuminating the room without producing a sleep-disturbing glow. The glowing rocket base is a perfect night light, and the motor noise is barely perceptible unless you are right next to it.The slides are a mix of real space phenomena, which I prefer, and more fantastical creations, which my son likes. Some of the images have some inherent digital noise that makes them appear grainy when in focus, but tweaking them with the focus ring softens it nicely - although I wish the awe-inspiring Hubble photography in particular was more clear overall. I'd love to know if there are further slides to purchase, even though the included ones have a nice variety. My main gripe is that there is not a case included for the 13th slide that comes preloaded, so when swapping slides there is a bit of juggling involved to keep them organized.

I love it so much, after a few weeks though the adjuster got stuck and i can no longer adjust the focus which is disappointing but it is still fun to use.

I bought two of these and we absolutely adore them. They come with 13 different slides, although I wish there were more. And the base is a cute nightlight

I picked up this Xeefeel Astronaut Star Projector as a gift for my nephews, and they thought it was really awesome at first. The design is super cute, and the rotating galaxy and planets look pretty cool when the room is pitch dark. They loved flipping through the different slides and colors, and it definitely kept them entertained. That being said, I was a little disappointed with how dim it is. If there is even a little bit of light in the room, the images lose a lot of their pop. It is not as bright or vivid as the pictures make it look. Also, it is all button controlled, which is fine, but a remote would have made it easier for kids to use by themselves.Overall, it is fun for what it is, but I wish the brightness and usability were a little better. Kind of a mixed bag.

This is so neat! I keep it in my 3 year olds room as a night light and it helps her fall asleep. So many different scenes! Really cool for adults and kids!

My son had a similar galaxy projector that makes use of a laser and it was freaking me out that he might look at it so I wanted to get him a replacement. Took a look at this one. It's pretty neat; you've got a bunch of discs with different galalxy/nebulas that you can swap out, and it's got a nice nightlight at the bottom. The built in timer is great too so this thing doesn't run all night. My only disappointment is that it's not quite as bright as it maybe could/should be. The other one I have is QUITE bright, almost too bright. This one is much more subdued. In perfect darkness it's not too bad but with any light leak in the room it can be hard to see the nebulas. Still, very happy.

We were on the lookout for a small projector to complement our 10-year-old son's room, as he's completely captivated by anything related to space. When we came across this astronaut-themed projector, we thought it would be the perfect fit and decided to give it a try. Upon receiving it, we were immediately impressed. The projector is designed to look like an astronaut in a spacesuit, riding a rocket, and it’s both adorable and surprisingly detailed. Not only does it make for a charming decorative piece, but it also delivers a stunning display of celestial objects that has truly brought the wonder of space into our home. From the moment we set it up, the presentation and performance of this little device have gone above and beyond what we expected. Our son absolutely loves it, and so do we. The visuals it projects are clear and vivid, making it easy to lose track of time while gazing at the stars and planets on the walls or ceiling.Inside the box, you’ll find the projector along with a few thoughtful accessories, including a USB cable for powering, a lens cleaning cloth, and two boxes containing six projection discs each (with one already pre-loaded into the projector). Everything was packed securely in foam, so there was no worry about damage during shipping. The design of the projector is intuitive and user-friendly, making it simple to use even for a child. One of the standout features is its versatility—it can double as a nightlight or a decorative piece for a bedroom or playroom, giving it practical use beyond just entertainment. We’ve been amazed by the quality of the images. The discs offer fantastic visuals of planets, stars, and other celestial bodies, and the ability to adjust the focus ensures that the projections are sharp and clear, no matter the surface. We've spent hours enjoying the different scenes projected on the walls and ceiling, and it never gets old.The projector comes with several convenient features, including a timer that can be set for one to two hours, and it also has an automatic shut-off after four hours. It offers three different rotation speeds, allowing for a dynamic and engaging experience. Setting it up was incredibly easy—just attach the astronaut’s head, and it clicks into place securely, thanks to the power of magnets. You can also tilt it to the desired angle, which stays in place with a satisfying pull from the magnet. The rocket-shaped base adds a nice touch, doubling as a nightlight with nine different colors to choose from, creating a cozy atmosphere in the room. The projector discs are neatly stored in their own cases, each labeled with a description of the images, making them not only fun to use but also a great learning tool to inspire curiosity in kids about space. Our son has spent hours asking questions and exploring the stars with this projector. All in all, this projector has been a huge hit with our family. My son adores it, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone with a budding space enthusiast in their home. It's a perfect combination of decoration, learning, and fun.
