The adhesive is super weak. Not worth the purchase. Didn't last very long.I was just using something simple and non-visible, to keep my nightstand doors closed. It was a lovely antique I found at a second hand store and the one door just wouldn't stay closed, it would always swing open with the slightest of movements. The magnet and the adhesive behind it are both very weak and wont last long.I wont be getting this item again. 1/10

I had a few simple projects in mind for this magnet tape but found magnetic force too weak for the projects I had in mind. For example, a hollow core door in my house always closes on its own so I thought a magnet strip on the wall and a magnet strip on the door would keep this door open. However, the magnet could not overcome the relatively weak pull on this very light door.I will use this tape as a toy for my daughter to play with, but I don't recommend it for anything around the house.

I used this product to keep my baby's blinds from opening during nap time, and it works most of the time and was very easy to use, however, I wish the magnet was slightly stronger.

I bought it to adhere to my work bench and hold all my flex shaft burs. I laid three strips side by side and it’s barely strong enough to hold my burs. They frequently fall off at random. The strips are nice and sticky though.

The magnet is fairly weak. The adhesive is coming undone one day after applying it.

Has no adhesive power at all. Bought a calendar to stick to my refrigerator. I needed 5 strips just to keep it from sliding. Very poor quality

I recieved a roll of the magnetic tape and it did not adhere very well. When the company emailed me to check on my satisfaction, I told them I was having issues. The company immediately responded with an apology and replacement item. The new roll worked perfectly. The company thinks there may have been some adhesive loss due to it being very hot outside during delivery, which I believe is probably true. I would recommend this product and this company!

Great magnetic tape. This works well, has a strong magnet, and the adhesive is very good. This was used in a bathroom and didn't experience any issues with moisture. It stayed adhered to the wall. The roll is a great size for the cost as well.

I tested the magnetic strength of 4 different magnetic strips/tapes. A 1” x ½” strip was attached to a flat wood surface and the magnetic break-away force was measured from a highly polished flat iron plate 0.25” thick. Here are the results in oz:4.5 Master Magnetics Magnet Tape8.5 X-Bet flexible magnetic tape8.5 X-Fasten flexible magnetic tape11.5 Coitak Flexible Magnetic TapeClearly, the Coitak is the best and Master Magnetics is awful.Note that these measurements are the pull-away force, not the sliding force. The sliding force reflects the weight that can be supported against gravity on vertical surface such as a refrigerator door and depends on the magnetic force and the smoothness of the surface (in technical terms, the static coefficient of friction). I measured 3 oz on a smooth surface and 5 oz for a rough surface for the Coitak tape.

Rated 5 because of the use i had for it. I used it to create mesh screens to close my patio. Magnet is not strong but strong enough to draw towards eachother and form a door which is exactly what i needed to make it easy to open and close... If youre looking for a strong magnet hold this is not the item for you! Adhesive worked fairly well on the mesh fabric although for added support (since it would be outside) I hot glued it to the fabric... The pic was just to test how it looked and held up in the wind.

I already love this product. I bought it because a friend used KAM snaps to keep her comforter from sliding around, all willy nilly, inside her duvet cover. I thought that was so genius, that I bought this set immediately. Except I no longer use duvet covers, I've gone quilt crazy, so that non-project will have to wait. I did, however, put some snaps on an open fronted shawl type wrap, which looks way cooler now. And then I added a snap to a super soft cashmere scarf that's really too short to expect it to look good, or feel good, tied. And then I added a few snaps in a few different spots to a nice southwestern pattern wool shawl I recently bought in New Mexico. The placement isn't perfect but they're super easy to remove and fabric seems undamaged so i think I'll find the perfect spot soon. It makes it possible to freeze the most perfect "effortlessly" fabulous moment in fabric draping and make it effortlessly permanent.I also put a snap on a pretty japanese dishtowel so it would stop effortlessly draping itself onto the kitchen floor. There's no doubt in my mind that the gift of being able to add snaps to anything under the sun will keep on giving for years to come. Seriously. I'd say this purchase is up there with getting one's first good pair of fabric scissors, it's BIG.
