Bought this for a friend that doesn’t have a Amazon account. Works pretty good a little different than a Firestick with the remote controller. One flaw is that the stick heats up and is hot to the touch since I was using the power unit from my Firestick rather than the one that came with the Mi Stick.

Este es mi segundo producto de este tipo que compro, ya cuento con el Mi Box y aunque el sistema Android los convierte en dispositivos muy versátiles, tienen un inconveniente que es difícil de entender; constantemente muestran mensajes de no estar conectados a WiFi, principalmente al encenderlos. Adicionalmente, en muchas ocasiones indica estar conectados al WiFi pero sin acceso a internet y deben reiniciarse para que reconecten. En YouTube se encuentran algunas propuestas de solución que no siempre funcionan, se dice que es un problema de desconfiguración de la fecha y la hora, pero no estoy seguro de esto.

Im updating my review to 22/sep2023Product stopped working 5 months after purchased, Amazon directed me to Xiaomi for warranty and Xiaomi said they don’t do warranty if it wasn’t purchased through them. Horrible warranty service————I think Xiaomi is the best android tv around, they always get firmware updates even my old one that I have for like 6 years now. But between the stick and they other bigger version, the bigger is faster.

Having a Xiaomi Mi Box that is working great there was hesitation ordering this stick. The problem is that after a few months the stick cannot hold the wifi internet connection (full coverage, 5 out of 5 bars) for more than 30 minutes, then needs to be restarted. This leaves the stick useless. Unfortunately did not find anywhere to contact support as this should be a warrenty issue.
