So, I am a DIY'er and I plan to use these rods with some sealed bearings to make a spindle for an oddball project of mine. These came well packaged and seem to be made extremely straight. That is far beyond my ability to matter, but they came in a protective sleeve and are flawless as far as I can tell. I can see how a high speed application would matter but unfortunately I will not be able to help with that issue. My project will require about 120 rpm/min. and precision won't come into play. I did roll them along a known flat surface and they did not reveal any variation to my naked eye. Not a whole lot of help to someone who will be installing on a high RPM machine. Sorry. All that said, or typed at least, I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!
