This little faucet valve is fantastic! I have an outdoor faucet that's extremely close to the ground with a knob very close to my brick house exterior, so I wanted to be able to stop and start water flow without having to scrape my knuckles on the bricks. The right angle to the vale also allows me to connect and disconnect my hose even though the faucet is about 8" off the ground. The shut-off lever moves smoothly and does a great job of controlling water flow. It screws onto my existing spigot without leaking, and hoses attach nicely - also without dripping! At $5.99 it's a bargain!

This brass 90⁰ w/shutoff from Xiny Tools works perfectly for the purpose intended. It's so nicely made that I gave it to Sherry as a birthday gift. The valve works quite easily and smoothly. Sorry about my cat's ear in the picture.

I needed to connect a hose where an air conditioner condenser sits right in front of it making it difficult to connect a hose. It's really close. So I bought this connector and I was able to reach the faucet and turn it facing up. I connected the hose and there you have it! it's brass so it won't break either! Works perfectly.

We needed a way to reduce the flow in one of our water lines and this did the trick! Very easy to install and use and well constructed.

Due to hose bib being too low to ground, I figured a 90 would make life a bit easier to connect the hose. Actually decided to connect a timer which would not have allowed hose to connect at all due to the lack of height from ground, so this elbow allowed mounting the timer horizontally. I don’t need the valve but it might be handy in the future. I chose this out of those that comes as a single item simply due to low price and fast delivery. Right off the fitting feels solid, but I found the female threaded connector refused to completely seal, it constantly weeped. Part of the problem I believe is the long length of the threads, which is good for most applications since it insures a good solid connection. But, at least for my spigot which has a short length of threads, it’s harder to get a thick enough washer that will seal.. The first washer appeared thick enough, but was very soft and failed immediately, cut by the pressure against the spigot edge, so I tried a second somewhat thicker washer that happened to be included and it nearly sealed, still a slow weep. On a positive note, the valve part appears to seal well. Also the male end tightens up well for the hose connection. In my case, the fitting would be easier to tighten if female swivel had a hex shape to use an open end wrench. The two ears are a bit of a minor irritation, need to use a pair of channel locks set at the right opening to snag the ears so it can be fully tightened. My hands just are not strong enough to hand tighten. Later today I’ll try 2 washers on the female end to see if I can get it to seal completely. My hose seals well which I can see has 2 washers. I expect it’s just a matter of getting the right washer so it seals.Update: I found problem is the thin narrow edge on the sealing face of my spigot nozzle. I found the washer was actually pushed up inside the spigot so not even sealing. I added a tough nylon washer outboard of a new rubber washer (they include a few extra) so it will hit against spigot sealing edge and not collapse inside the spigot. It works, fully sealed now. No weeping. The small ball valve does have a reduced diameter but it does not affect my needs for attaching the sprinkler which I normally throttle. So for first few days now, it’s sealed, not leaking anywhere and the timer fits well on the horizontal and also sealed easily on the male end of this fitting.
