I like these as homing switches for cnc control. most controllers work with 5v, making these really easy to hook up. I use these with GRBL(arduino) for cnc homing. They don't require a pull-up resistor, just hook up 5v(brown), ground(blue) and signal(black), then invert the homing switch setting in GRBL($5=1), no additional wiring. I much prefer these to a mechanical switch that is noisy.
