Super comfy and perfect for my jones bars. I was expecting a struggle to get em on, but old-school hairspray and some elbow grease got them on just fine. I'm aware they only last a yer or so max before they start tearing, but they are so comfy ill deal with replacing them once a year.

I've worked as a bike mechanic for 10 years and these grips are impossible to install. Tried using windex, alcohol and soapy water and could never get them half way on. Had to use a knife to cut the one I managed to get half way on. Waste of money.

Put these on my bike. I had the standard size on my mountain bike. Decided to try the chunky size. I like the feel and extra cushion. Not too soft, still have great control.

I've had reg length esi chunky before that went on easily. I got these on half way with soapy water and wouldn't budge. Got it off and then got hair spray which is what I've used in the past. Saturated the bar and I side of grip and it slid all the way on perfectly. The other side.... no such luck. Did the same process and the hair spray set up really fast... half way and no budge. Guess because I did soapy water on the other one 1st then hair spray. Anyhow.... it was soooo tight not even compressed air would get it off. Had to cut off and move on. They are just so tight and too long .... at least the one I got. They seemed way way smaller on the inside diameter than my previous esi chunkies.

Best grips ever! Easy to install with rubbing alcohol and let sit overnight. Conforms to your hands over a bit of time and are grippy and comfortable on day 1 through their lifespan. Only (small) gripe is they can suffer from tears from tree strikes if you ride off-road.
