We have had our system for about 6 months now and have worked flawlessly. We waited to write a review so that we could honestly remark on the functionality of the system. First of all, the set up was extremely fast and easy it took me 30 minutes to put the cameras together and pair with the NVR. About an hour to put on the house and position everything to my likening. You have the option to run the cameras with a SD card, NVR, cloud, or all of them, we did SD card and NVR. I have seen people complain that the NVR wont record and I'm guessing they did not buy a hard drive to go into the system (laptop size hard drive). Everything records to the hard drive on the NVR unless power goes out, then it records to the SD card on the camera. The Wi-Fi signal is strong to all 6 cameras that we have (the system creates a network that chains the cameras together). The night vision is excellent, and the led spotlight gives you full HD color at night. The solar panel does not need direct sunlight to work and will charge the battery on rainy days. If you have internet, you can view your cameras or the NVR anywhere in the country (It may be worldwide, but we have not tested that). I would highly recommend this system to anyone that needs an affordable home security system.

After a lot of research, I decided on this Xmarto camera set. I also purchased a separate extra camera. After having them successfully installed for almost 2 months one after another 3 of the cameras stopped charging with the solar panels. Took them down as it happened and then plugged them directly into an outlet inside, the light would flash once then nothing. Left them plugged in for 12 hours like the initial charge set up and nothing. Wrote Xmarto directly after 3 or so emails back and forth with them questioning my settings and proper set up they sent me one camera to test which has worked great. I emailed them told them and asked now what? I asked 3 times, finally being told there was no way they just weren't working. So, I explained again and never have received a response. So, I guess I am eating 2 cameras that will not take a charge.UPDATE: After submitting my review I received a prompt response and was shipped 2 more cameras that work wonderfully! This is a great setup as long as your not the anomaly. Which they have finally corrected. Happy with my setup!

Firstly, there are no obligations to commit to purchasing a monthly cloud plan, providing the flexibility to operate the cameras using an SD card or NVR, which is of paramount importance to me. While there is an available plan that I have yet to utilize, it is likely on par with the quality of the equipment.Upon handling these cameras, one immediately notices their substantial and robust build, setting them apart from many other brands. I have experimented with REOLink and Blink cameras in the past, only to return them due to the significant lag experienced when attempting to view a live feed. This issue is effectively resolved by the NVR system.This system was remarkably simple to set up and program. I installed my panels on the roof of our fifth wheel, while the cameras were strategically positioned on the walls. I utilized double-sided acrylic tape for mounting both the panels and the cameras as to not puncture the membrane of the fifth wheel.The night vision capabilities are exceptional, and the LED spotlight provides vivid full HD color during nighttime. The solar panel does not necessitate direct sunlight for operation and can charge the battery even on rainy days. With an internet connection, one can monitor the cameras or NVR from anywhere in the country (though we have not yet tested its global reach). Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this system to anyone seeking an economical home security solution.Lastly, their customer support is exceptional and you can tell they mean business to keep up their reputation of being a market leader. Moreover, the professionalism and expertise displayed by their support staff are unparalleled.

Follow up: By far the worst experience and product I have purchased on Amazon. I use the cameras primarily to pick up wildlife around my yard. This camera could not even pic up a 300 pound bear in my backyard. I had 3 cameras that were within 60 feet and none of them recorded the bear. In addition, I drive my pickup truck past three of them almost every day without getting a recording. These cameras are a waste of money. Not to mentioned I was promised an additional camera because of my problem. It like the surveillance capabilities never showed up. Customer service is not only bad but they don’t keep there commitments.I bought these cameras thinking they would be able to track movement by moving a gimble on the camera. It turns out they only move when you initiate the movement with the controls on the computer.I notified the company, right after installing a couple of the cameras but it took two weeks for someone from the company to react and come to a conclusion that I had the wrong cameras. By then a month had passed since I purchased and my ability to replace the cameras with what I really needed had run out. Video quality is excellent but the signal to cameras can be spotty even if it is within the allotted 300 ft from the NVR. I had bought a system from XMartO 12 years before and hoped that being a repeat customer would help. That was also not the case.Conclusion: if you need help determining the correct system or setting up your system, you might want to consider another brand with better customer service.Follow up: Customer service stated they would send me an auto tracking camera since that is what I intended in the first place. I couldn't return because their return policy is only for a month and it took me that long to get an adequate answer from them. I have not seen the camera. It was promised to me on Christmas Day. Considering getting the remaining cameras from another source.
