Needed new mirrors and thought these would be cool with extra LED lights, but these are just the case and comes with no mirrors. Product pretty cool

I don’t recommend this item. Although it looks great after two years having it on my keep, the metal that are the light has severe rust

Make sure you read the add, these are the housings only, there’s no mirrors or the piece that bolts on the door.

First and foremost if you are thinking of buying these save an afternoon because it will take you 4+ hours to install. Simply way too much work to get these plugged in and working.PROSAs far as the side mirrors they are nice and people do notice them right away. Looks super nice when turn signals are on. Led white lights are super bright. (Sorry i took the pictures during day time, will try to update this post.) Led lights will help you with peripheral view if thats what you are looking for.CONS1. Time and amount of work to install2. Instructions could be better, especially when it comes to explaining what wires are what. Yellow is for turn signal. Red is for led lights. Black is ground, obviously. Make sure your ground cable is grounded in a good place or turn signal and leds will not function correctly. Also, it would be nice if the instructions explained how to remove the mirror from the original black casing.3. Wires that function the turn signals and leds are way too small. Could easily be a 16 gauge but 20 gauge is way to small in my opinion. Along with that, they are very short in lenght. They go half way through the door. Get ready to buy extra wiring.4. As you can see on the pictures, the new side mirror didnt fit into the original base very nicely. You can see the wires.5. Original mirrors are way too small to the new black casing part. As seen on the pic theres a huge gap and once again you can see the wires.Update 12/30/21: 2 years after installation turn signals and led lights are now that ugly burnt yellow. No match for the Texas sun. You can see the picture.3 STARS. The amount of time and work it takes to install and the overall end product deserve no more. Hope this helps.

Update....its now been 5months since I installed these smoked mirrors and there still working great and havent had any issues with them still. The little screws on the backside of housing around the led aren't rusting either as some have mentioned.So far so good! 2 weeks after install and all is well! Good quality housing. LEDs are bright and look amazing! Wiring these lights is time consuming but worth it.

Ok so the good- These look great, perform well, and the fit and finish is almost as good as OEM.The bad- The wiring from the LEDs is VERY small. Realistically this should have been at LEAST 16, if not 14 gauge wire, instead it's 20, and the casing on the wiring is terrible. I broke 2 wires during install. I ended up rewiring them with 16 gauge to increase durability.The ugly- Install is a PITA. there's no other way to describe it. That is 110% NOT the fault of Xprite or a design flaw in this product, it's simply the nature of installing a new casing on the mirrors. Set aside an afternoon. Seriously.

Really like the look and idea behind these mirrors. Installed a pair this past weekend. Instructions were great. Packaging was top notch! After installing them...there was only one slight problem, the passenger side turn signal doesn't work. The off road LEDs work great, thought maybe I wired something wrong on the turn signal.....NOPE! Had power all the way to the back of the sealed light enclosure. This is a lack of quality control on the manufacturers part! Will now have to figure out how to get a replacement.Update! Xprite is addressing my issue by sending a replacement set of mirror housings asap. Will add another review once the new mirror housings are delivered and installed with no further issues. I am making my post five star because I really love these mirrors.Latest update 6-1-2017: Xprite has resolved the issues with my order and mirrors are working great! Thank you Xprite for handling the issues in an expedited manner!

I bought these a couple weeks ago and love them. The install wasn't hard but it was time consuming, running the wires and zip tying them to hide everything. I would recommend using quick disconnects where the wiring harness connects by the foot welds for the doors so you can easily take the doors off. Adventuredex actually has an installation video to help walk you through the install on youtube which was a huge help. I have several light bars on my jeep and these provide more of a peripheral vantage than the traditional bars which illuminate whats directly in front of you. The turn signals are just a nice added bonus and work great.
