As you can imagine, I bought these barrels to barrel things, man do they barrel things in a barely way. I mean good.barreling, they barrel, but like are they the best barrels? Maybe, I don't barrel as much as I use to but they barrels have barreled in a barrel way. Why does my phone write barrel so much, hey what the heck is going on, why is this saying barrel so much? Is my voice dictation on? Barrel. Barrel. Barrel. Stop saying barrel. Barrel.

They're functional, they work. Easy enough to grab and connect/disconnect. Regular ol' video should (like CCTV) should be fine with these. 1.5G SDI works. 12G SDI, manages for short runs but I tried 2x 100' cables and the signal got iffy (OK, so you shouldn't really use couplers with higher frequencies anyway). Same cables with a 'quality' coupler worked fine, though.

These seem like very solid couplers. All metal construction and the knurling makes it much easier to grab/twist these than smooth ones, which are frustrating and sometime impossible to disconnect. A 0.3 ohm measurement (taken on a trusty old Fluke meter) seems inline with a 0.1dB attenuation/loss.Recommended!
