These are VERY heavy duty straps and the inclusion of the extra D rings makes for a lot of versatility in attaching them. Durability remains to be seen, but my initial impression is very positive.Just pay attention to the size. At 1.5" wide, these are much larger than needed for strapping down typical lighter loads in cars or the back of a truck.

Well made heavy duty ratchet system, with nice long straps and an extra D ring sewn into the actuator end plus another D ring that's free to move around on the strap itself.The, uh, limitation is the little carry bag. It's only big enough for about 2 1/2 of the straps; only two of them if you fully assemble the straps to the ratchets and wind them up to prevent knotting them up. These are not inexpensive straps; I'd have expected the carry bag to hold all the straps in the set.

We needed some new tie downs and these looked pretty beefy. I ordered them and didn't tell my hubby. He's the tool guy and when he saw them he said he didn't need more (I strongly disagree, because his are dirty). But I made him look at them and try them out. I hear from across the shop "these are pretty cool!" So I went over to see what was cool, because to me they're just tie downs. He loves that they have a D ring - he showed me that if we want to tie the hammock to a tree, it'll be super easy to just loop it around the tree and tighten it up on the D ring. He also said he's not taking these to work, that he's saving them for us because of how nice they are. So wives, get your hubby these tie downs - he'll be happy you did! And you'll get to lay in the hammock and relax in return. Also, he likes how long they are - plenty of length to tie across the truck bed if need be.

Comes in 2 pack. I am planning for my camping season this spring. This heavy duty strap will be a good value add to my camping tuck where I can strap together my materials in safe manner.

Bigger and stronger than typical ratchet straps. Ratcheting mechanism itself works the same as usual. The fixed D-ring on the ratchet side lets you loop around poles and such without hooking directly onto the webbing, while the loose D-ring on the long side lets you cinch around arbitrarily large objects like tires (again, without hooking directly to the webbing). Price is good to reasonable considering how nice these straps are. My only complaint is the included bag is sized for the 2 pack, not the 4 pack, but the bag adds almost nothing to either the cost or value, so it's not a big deal.

These ratchet straps are good quality. Heavy duty ratcheting mechanism, nice quality straps and hooks. They work great for securing heavy equipment in a trailer or pickup bed or box truck/van.
