The box is sturdy and attractive, and the guidebook is blessedly compact. The cards are thicker than average, with shiny foil edges that don’t stick much, though gentle shuffling is probably called for.I usually don’t buy decks without seeing most of the cards, but the vibrant colors and ocean theme were irresistible—so I’ve included some photos for other buyers. [I'm having trouble uploading them!] The imagery follows the Rider-Waite-Smith system, though with slightly fewer visual cues, so some familiarity with RWS may be helpful.The artwork is detailed and engaging. It doesn’t feel like AI, though it may be. Some scenes include delightful surprises—like the Moon card figures having feet, or the Six of Spears featuring a mermaid riding a great white shark backward.The suits have been renamed: Pearls = Cups, Corals = Wands, Spears = Swords, and Treasure = Pentacles. There are not just mermaids but also mermen (not all Jason Momoa lookalikes); some of the mermen are old and some of the mermaids are young girls. Most characters are white, but there is some diversity. Death and the Devil stand out as more monstrous—or less “mermaid-like.”It’s a beautiful, easy-to-shuffle deck. You’re asked to register for replacements via an after-sales email, which I mistrusted and skipped—but that’s a personal choice. No buyer’s remorse—absolutely love this deck!

I have not found a mermaid deck I connected to. I saw this one and they called me. Beautiful art work and love the metallic blue on outside of cards stock. Love them 🧜🏻♀️

This fits my theme that I do reading for. I like how the book explines the element if it's a yes or no maybe card. I also can see me using this deck for some types of readings. I like that theor a card for replacement if needed.
