Very easy to figure out how to replace the original one. Just be sure you get the proper carburetor. There are two kinds that will fit. Mine needed the sliding track connection for the choke. Be sure to distinguish before ordering. The fixed hole connection carb will not allow the choke to open and close properly. I made the mistake

My neighbor asked me if I could fix their mower. I disassembled the outer shroud on the mower and found that the carburetor choke linkage was broken. So I searched Amazon and found the exact carb linkage on this carburetor. It had a curved slot that pulls the choke on when the mower starts. This carburetor worked just fine once I replaced it. I noticed there was a speed adjustment where the Phillips head screw is on the throttle linkage. I adjusted it out for a higher running speed. My neighbor seems very happy with the way that it starts and runs now.
