This turned out to be a problem solver. Lawn mower wouldn't start and I tried everything and finally decided to just put a new carburetor on it. Works great now

After removing the old carb, it wasn't difficult to install new carb. New carb kit came with gaskets and air filter. Installed new carb and was ableto start lawnmower after a few pulls. Soon after, the lawnmower began to hunt and sputter and after a few more seconds the lawnmower shutoff. Trouble shot fuel system and realized throttle linkage was not attached. Connected throttle linkage and now mower runs pretty good. I would recommend this carburetor.

Overall, I give this 5 stars because the carb works and it allowed me to ditch the auto choke mechanism. The carb looks identical, one of the seals was exactly what I needed to replace the damaged seal, and it fit perfectly. The air filter does not fit. I needed an air filter 3.5" x 5.75" x 1" thick, this is 3.5" x 4.5". The spark plug does fit, however, there is no name or number anywhere on the plug so if you use it, finding a replacement from that plug will be much more difficult. I got a new Champion plug from the local NAPA for $4 instead. The fuel filter and fuel shutoff valve both fit and work, also used the clear tubing to install the filter and replace the old fuel line. The new fuel line clamps also fit and work well.

Definitely great quality easy to install and my lawnmower runs like brand new again, worth every penny. Make sure you read the description and model number of what this will fit so you won't have to write a negative review. I give this a 10/10 for price and quality 👍👍

Got a free mower that previous owner had monkeyed around with and lost all but the main body of the carb. From that I was able to match with this new one. Arrived on time and looks exactly like the old one. Installed and it started 2nd pull and runs smoothly.Only negative is the fuel line that came with it is cheap clear plastic, but I didn’t use it anyway.

You may have to swap out the butterfly and shaft for your automatic choke. The metal plate pulls through the shaft. Otherwise, it is identical to the original carberator. Also, that plastic fuel filter is crap! It may leak. I'd recommend an upgrade there. But hey, for the money, it's a really good deal.

Doesn't work on a Kohler 6.75. the control arm for the throttle function is different and won't work. I kinda made it work so I hooked the gas back up and gas poured out of just about everywhere out if the carb. Adjusted the float and it didn't change anything. Assume the needle doesn't seat properly. Cheaply made as you might have guessed.

How about this version because I can get it the next morning. The only good things about it is that it came with a new fuel & air filter, spark plug, and shut off valve. The new fuel line is clear PVC which is not ready for gas. I'm sure the shut-off valve will fail shortly as well. Started up and it ran for 6 seconds before shutting off. Quickly traced it to flooding in the carburetor. Gas was pouring out just like everyone else said. I temporarily fixed it by using the new shut off valve and cut the fuel flow down to 20%. That's the job of the carburetor and float. I'm ordering the OEM Kohler now to replace it. It does suck having to do this job twice although it is not very hard. I got the grass cut with a bit of difficulty of stalling because the float just flooded out the carburetor multiple times. By the time I need to cut the grass again, the OEM version will be here.
