Do you love puzzles, going to the hardware to buy fasteners and glue, then this one is perfect for you. Just great way to waste time on a Friday afternoon. This kit is garbage. Not stainless fasteners, nothing fits, and requires modifications and panels of wood need gluing.

I have returned two previous swim steps because there are no instructions and the hardware is loose rattling around in a previously opened box. I have no idea if all the hardware is here until I try to figure out how to install it. Instructions are key!!!

Glue failed first time out on the water. I through-bolted everything (hardware was included, but needed additional hardware to make solid) and it's sturdy as a rock. Handles my 260# just fine. Install instructions not included.

Very sturdy and easy to install.Also is reversible.Attractive and a great value. I did coat it with 2 coats of teak oil before I installed it.

I like that it can be place on either side of the boat. My wife and I love being able to "easily " get in the boat after swimming.Simply put, BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT.
