for the price its unbeatable, has large clear and accurate gauges. My other regulators are now in need of rebuilding and I own Air- Gas, Victor and Harris regulators, just rebuilding one is almost the cost of this regulator. It had no leaks and the shipping was phenomenal, ordered and it arrived the next day. I am a welder and Electrician by trade and have done so for over 40 years, this regulator is just what someone stating on a budget needs, I plan on buying the oxygen regulator and going to check out what else they have to offer. Thank you for making a decent product.

Just received my new acetylene regulator. It looks like it is built very well. Installed it on the tank and hoses. When I opened the tank valve, I smelled a leak. I removed the regulator and reinstalled it with yellow Teflon tape at both tank and hose connectors. Still smelled acetylene. Did the soapy water test at all connections points and on the regulator. No bubbles anywhere. Should I remove the pressure adjustment handle and put soapy water in that hole?Other comments: fast shipping to my location in Alaska. Any advice on possible leak in regulator?

I replaced an old presto-lite regulator with a perforated diaphragm. Wasnt worried about the hose end becuase it had a barbed hose end. It runs from 1 to 14 psi its very smooth and vernier and worked hassle free on a large job. Regulator is used with a presto-lite fuel air torch set.

My gas welding setup is 40 years old and the acetylene regulator developed a leak. Due to age, no repair parts are available so I purchased this regulator to finish some projects. It was quick to install and worked as well as the original regulator so I am very pleased with it. The brass construction is quite nice and I believe it will give good service over time with just normal care and maintenance.
