I don’t usually write reviews, but based on the amount of trouble I had with this order I felt I had to. One of the main reasons I ordered this product was it looked sturdy and the price was very temping. In all of the pictures it shows the Umbrella with just the frame feet without any base. It even states “windproof” and no mention of needing additional base. After a day of using it, it tipped over several times with just the little gusts of wind. After scrolling through the reviews I noticed most people having the same issue. One review stated that you needed to buy the base that is sold separately. After some searching, I found the matching base and had to paid an additional $55. It arrived 4 days later. The base description, states it is a “4-Piece Umbrella Base Outdoor Umbrella Stand, Filled with Water or Sand”. I filled the bases up with water and screwed the caps on. Immediately the bases start leaking water all over my deck. I even tried re-screwing the cap several times thinking it was not on properly; however, every time, the bases continued to leak at the spout. I wrote Yaheetech and never heard back. I even had Amazon reach out to Yaheetech and still no response. I had to work through Amazon and get a replacement sent out and drive to UPS to return the base. After waiting another week, the replacement base arrived. I unpacked them and filled again with water. Immediately the bases started leaking again. Obviously the bases are not made well and cannot take water. I had to drive to Lowes and spend another $30 in sand bags and tediously fill with sand. Beware, overall, this product will cost you at least $180.00 and involves a lot of work to get it usable.

This is a VERY nice umbrella. It is super heavy-duty (weighs a lot so you might need some help). I was able to assemble the pieces together by myself, but it would have been better to have a partner. I did not have anyone home with me and I wanted to get it assembled, so I did it alone.Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was going to be very top-heavy and would need something on the bottom for an anchor. I was able to find the plastic containers that fit on top of the base - fill with water or sand-- which will be the weight to hold the umbrella down. Just be aware that you should order this accessory when you order the umbrella otherwise you won't be able to use it when you assemble.I love how the crank turns and moves the umbrella to different angles so you can adjust according to the sun. It's so large which will provide a large area of shade. The solar lights are a great touch and I won't need to add extra lights as I've done with past umbrellas.

This was our first cantilever umbrella, so there was a bit of a learning curve with regards to setting it up, and keeping it anchored. If you are a seasoned pro, skip the next paragraph!.For us newbies - pay attention to the directions! This comes together very easily, but it took a bit of trial and error for me to figure out how to get the umbrella fully unfurled. The trick for me was popping the little sleeve off of the hinge mechanism. That allows everything to move more easily. The other issue was understanding how to anchor the base. The description of this product does clearly state that the base stand is not included. You *will definitely* need either an official base stand, or at least a bunch of cinder blocks, to get this umbrella stabilized. I ended up opting for a sandbag system and about 300# of sand..So for those of you who have experience with cantilevered umbrellas - this is a very good product for the price point. It works smoothly and shades exactly the area we needed in our backyard. The solar cell was easy to install, and the integrated LED lighting looks so sleek - a practical addition to night-time backyard parties..While the umbrella is vented for stability, I would still recommend closing it up and setting it in the "stowed" position during very inclement weather. This should be very easy to disassemble for the winter months as well. There are two tightening nuts and two pressure lock buttons that need to be loosened/depressed to separate the umbrella from the stand, and then then the feet of the stand can be unscrewed for even flatter storage.

Good points: Easy to assemble. Made of quality material. The solar lights are a very nice touch. They provide nice mood lighting. The offset pole gives the umbrella some flexibility where it can be used. It is not limited to a hole in a table. This umbrella does not come with a stand.Weak points: The seller claims the umbrella is windproof. Not possible in high winds. It will tip over rather easily in high winds especially in light of the offset pole.Bad points: None.

This is an amazing umbrella. The Support seem to be made of high-quality heavy duty aluminum and the fabric is thick and durable. I would also classify the umbrella material as heavy duty. Make sure you have a proper base to secure this umbrella and expect no problems whatsoever. This umbrella is massive. It opens and closes smoothly and locks open very easy. This umbrella exceeded all my expectations and looks classy and amazing. I found no flaws whatsoever in this umbrella easily earns five stars

This is an excellent umbrella. It’s huge. It was really easy to put together. I was able to start putting it together before having to read the instructions. The only part I couldn’t figure out on my own was how to attach the solar panel to the top but that was easy, too. It’s heavy and the base is okay if you don’t open it all the way. If you do, it falls over. You can put the umbrella into a different base that works better for you or bolt it into the ground. The material is not heavy canvas but more of a synthetic material. It is a nice neutral dark tan color. It is really easy to open and close. It feels pretty durable. I put it against a wall on one side, as it gets really windy where I live. There was some wind and it held up fine.
