I got the new chuck for half the price of a lost chuck key for the original chuck. A replacement B&D chuck cost as much as a new electric drill, so I chose this replacement to keep my old drill usable, and after 6 months, it's happy as a clam.

Installed this new chuck on an older B&D 3/8" corded drill. Videos on YT show how to get old chuck off. Works well and gives new life to an old drill that now works as good as it did on day one.
